Anstatt zuhause in der Wärme zu bleiben nutzte ich das stürmische Wetter um ein märchenhaftes Foto zu schiessen. Meine treue Kamera hat das Ganze zum Gkück heil überstanden, obwohl sie unter der weissen Schneechicht kaum mehr zu sehen war. :))

Instead of staying at home, I used the opportunity of the stormy weather to take a magical photo like a fairy tale. My faithful camera got through the whole thing, even though it was full of snow.

Bei diesem Portrait hab ich mich von einem meiner Lieblingsfilme inspirieren lassen "The Ring". Es sollte jedoch nicht so düster wirken, aber trotzdem irgendwie mystisch :)

Anfangs dachte ich "Ein Foto pro Woche – das geht schon". Und jetzt bin ich schon einiges im Verzug … Erst mit der Zeit merkt man, wie zeitintensiv dieses Projekt wirklich ist und wie viel Aufwand ein einziges Foto braucht. Doch es macht Spass, eine Herausforderung und ein Ziel zu haben, und jede Woche seine Kreativität und Fähigkeiten zu fördern. Es geht eigentlich weniger um das Foto, das ich am Ende veröffentliche, sondern vielmehr um den Weg zum Resultat, was ich dabei lerne und wie ich mich wandle.

At first I thought "a photo a week – easy." And now I'm quite a bit behind schedule ... Only with time you realize how time-consuming this project really is and how much effort one photo needs. But it's fun to have a challenge and a goal, and to promote every week my creativity and skills. Its actually less the photo that I post at the end, but rather the way to the result – what I'm learning and how I change.

Meine Erwartungen an mich selbst sind gross, oft zu gross. Ich versuche Dinge zu erreichen, die ich nicht kann und scheitere dann an mir selbst. Ich vergesse die kleinen Zwischenschritte die es braucht um zu wachsen. Die kleinen Schritte die mich zu meinem grossen Ziel bringen – und zu einem grösseren Ich.

My expectations of myself are big, often too big. I am trying to achieve things that I can not and fail on myself. I forget the small intermediate steps that it needs to grow. The small steps that bring myself to my big goal – and to a bigger myself.

Um dieses Foto aufzunehmen hab ich mich eine halbe Ewigkeit im Kreis gedreht. Am Ende war mir ziemlich übel, aber es hat sich ausgezahlt :))
