Built for Iberia in 1967, this Caravelle 10R was transferred to Aviaco in 1972, and acquired by charter carrier Transeuropa in March 1979. As such it was captured a few months later, flaring for then runway 16 at Basel and showing its bright new livery.
Transeuropa was founded in 1965, but folded its wings in 1982. EC-BIB was subsequently sold to Aerosucre Colombia as HK-2860, but withdrawn from use and stored at Barranquilla in 1983, and scrapped there some time after.
HB-IBS DC-6A Balair - no doubt being prepared for a red cross operation, or came back from one. This Balair DC-6 was the last passenger-carrying example in Europe. She was eventually sold to Conair (Canada) - eventually sold to Everts Air Cargo, probably for spare parts - she was ferried to Fairbanks in 2013 (scan from my collection - not taken by myself).

What an amazing day it was..i was so much focused of the upcoming arrival of my lover (the 2-MMTT 727) that i completely forgot that it was a rare falcon!
I saw him on approach but i really realised when he landed that it came from the Djibouti Government..all that i say that it was perfect that day, the lightning conditions were really georgeous 😍

Nice catch for the first day of the week and not the last one..something big is on the way 😁!
I was able to make the CN-MBH again today almost 4 years after having made it the 747-400 version (was re-registered A6-DAW). Although i came a bit late for the first go-around, i took the last chance and things went very well 😍!
