Perfect light for that rare CJ after having missed it two years ago at my home airport!
Was planned two hours earlier but it appeared that it suffered some issues before the clearance. I was sure that it wouldn't leave today..fortunately i waited for the OO-SNE's departure while it was suddenly taxiing behind!
An other nice vip catched during the touchdown!
Almost two years ago that i made it..i couldn't say that it was perfect because it was a mix of snow, rain and fog..but today, things were totally different!
He finally flew today and after a long testflight of 10 hrs, he came back when the lightning conditions were at their best 😍.

Finally i made it!
After having caught the VQ-BSK, VP-BAT and the A7-HBJ, i succeeded for the most common 747-8 which wears the usual Qatar Airways livery.
For the anecdote, i missed it last november when the light was purely perfect but today, that story is over.
F-BRPT ATL-98A Carvair British Air Ferries - leased from Transports Aériens Réunis (TAR) at the time. Later registered G-ASKG. Sold to SOACO as TR-LUP. Her further African carreer included Aero-Service and ECLair (www.flickr.com/photos/propfreak/8192059885/in/photolist-d...) and finally TAC Air Service (scan from my collection - not taken by myself).
Currently, the weeks are fairly calm..so that's why i decided to make some edits for un-published pics 😉.
By the past, the VQ-BSK used to fly for the Qatar Government (only for the Father named "Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani") with the old State Of Qatar scheme but since he passed away, the holding which is the owner of the BBJ decided to sell the plane.
Actually, he's on storage at Basel (BSL) and that day, it was my onliest chance to make it.. it was worth 👍 !
PS : so if anyone has almost 500M$ for afford it, please feel free to let me know 😜)

What a day..My prefered angle and perfect background on a shot as it was really stormy above the Moutains (as usual in summer).
About that big BBJ, he made a test flight above the Alpes territory and performed two go-arounds in the end. I couldn't expected any better shots 😜 !
