Honestly, I think the only reason he came in this costume was to try to get into the Slave Leia group shot at 2PM.
Cosplaying as the classic image of Princess Leia from A New Hope (Star Wars). This is the first time I cosplayed as her.
I've made the dress, the belt and painted the gun black. The gun is really Han Solo's gun. Leia should have Stormtrooper's gun.
The updo is a blend of my own hair and fake hair lengths mixed and rolled up and pinned with 100's of pins.
As I posed at a cinema so it was probably at some premiere, I think it was Attack of Clones so it must be 2002?
Of course I struck same pose as with the Mara picture. :P
As a total I've cosplayed about 5-6 times as Leia. About 4 times with the complicated hairdo. I think I went to both premieres (Attack of Clones and Revenge of the Sith) in this getup, as well as two conventions. And then some gatherings without the hairdo. The dress got dirty at the end, it is hard to keep a white garment clean, even with laundry detergent...
With the next batch of sculpts completed, I'm having some "me" time, to make some stuff that I want for my collection and I've got to say that I'm really enjoying painting stuff up again!
I've been wanting to make a Boushh figure for ages, as I've always loved the job that Lego did with the helmet on this figure.
I didn't do much to the helmet, apart from trimming some of the plastic from the bottom, giving it a repaint and adding the little antenna.
The base for the belt, the sleeves, the little bit of skirting and the cape were all made with sniper tape, the rest was sculpted with ProCreate.
I was going to sculpt a hair piece for this figure, but in all honesty, it'll never be displayed with the helmet off, so I left it out.
Hope you guys like it and just trying to think what I fancy building next?
Continuing with another Leia brickbuilt figure. This time, Leia disguised as a Boushh bounty hunter from Return of the Jedi.

Display that I am bringing to BricksLA this weekend of Endor Leia meeting an Ewok. The Ewok is a design by Hsinwei Chi and I just copied it as I find it suits my scale of Leia to my liking. The only main change I made is tilting the head backwards so that he is looking up at Leia’s face.

When I have a photo session for work, if I can, I take Leia as a production assistant, and we arrive a little earlier to inspect the land, and Leia, who knows that in addition to production, she is a muse, she lets herself be done. In the background the Phoenician piers :)
