Hey everyone! In this album I'll share my latest WIPs and MOCs under construction, mainly the next skyscraper in Wasabi District!

This image, actually taken weeks ago, is a preview of what the latest skyscraper project will look like.

Also, follow @wooootles on Instagram, where I also share LEGO WIPs (and other things too, it's my personal IG account!)

RogueOlympics 2024 - Round 1 - "As Sweet As Sugar"

As every year we at roguebricks.de are hosting the RogueOlympics, a contest of eight weekly rounds with a new theme each round. The hard part is that you can't use more than 101 parts each round.

Stitch from the Lilo & Stitch movie is one of my favourite charakters of all time and if you ask me, he is the pure essence of cuteness (or sweetness, if you want). I used 84 parts to build it and one is a huge LEGO Friends playmat that I used as the background.

This creation was inspired by the Star Wars Battlefront 2 game. I put a lot of effort into this build, especially the rockwork, ground details and the giant tree and I have to admit I'm pretty happy with the final result.

As you can see this diorama shows a battle between Imperial forces supported by the Inferno Squad and rebel troopers. For more detailed description and 'work in progress' pictures, please check out my Instagram page! (@betterbrickstudio)

Incomplete parking lot - road construction still ongoing

Little late on the Flickr post, oops. I started this design immediately after I finished the red pickup. Has an opening tailgate and can comfortably fit a minifigure in the bed.

Extra shots with minifigures available on my Instagram @ ten.dinosaurs

I've also started a new page @ afew.dinosaurs will be posting more builds there.

Cheers.

This MOC was inspired by the scene from chapter 3 season 1 of The Mandalorian TV show where Mandalorian survivors confront the bounty hunters guild to help Din Djarin escape with Baby Yoda (or The Child) from Nevarro City. It's the first time I ever tried third-party LED lights in a MOC and I think it turned out really well. I'm happy with all the details, especially the big arch/gate and the rockwork, but unfortunately I ran out of some crucial pieces and wasn't able to make the whole MOC as detailed as I wanted. However, it still looks pretty decent I think.

Bed inspired by Japan against a striped plated wall.

Modern living inspired by old open-air-bath architecture as the house is standing on pillars in water and is offering an open space for bathing in the middle.

You enter the terrace through the rock on the backside of the house. On the terrace you find a small outdoor kitchen and table with chairs made of ladders and steering wheels. Kitchen, reading corner, livingroom and sauna with shower on first floor.

The house is entered from the terrace. A high plated wall goes though this floor leading from the hallway to the master bedroom and bathroom. Here you sleep with a 180 degrees sea view.

The floor below is reached by a floating staircase attached to the wall. A corridor with a resting chair (made of life preservers) and glass cabinet combines two parts of the house. One of them is hosting a kitchen and dining area. The other one is hosting a livingroom. Here you also find a small sauna and shower room with a ladder leading directly down to the water.

This is my third house built into a rock. The other two are called "Green Rock House" and "Calmwater Cliff House".

This is my second entry to the Bricklink Designer Program Series 6. I appreciate all votes and comments:

I love architecture and I decided to design an opera house to Bricklink Designer Program Series 6 and my inspiration came from the opera houses of Budapest and Vienna. I tried to add many typical details, and decorations such as a combination of an arcade and a balcony on the front facade, statues, dormer windows, a brick-built light pole, light on the rear facade, planter etc.. The roof assembly and the auditorium balcony are removable and a big part of the rear wall is openable to make the interior space accessible.

What. A. Chore. I couldn’t begin to tell you why proportioning this engine has been such a bane, but between the boiler, the tanks, the cab, the bunker, the wheels…. No combination of sizes or shapes I tried worked. This result here… is the least offensive of my attempts and the last of my patience. At quick glance I think it at least communicates (auto tank). But I want to focus on a new build and need to move on. So here’s my first overhaul of the new year rail ready.

The Village Post Office is my first new MOC for over a year. A classic British Post Office set during the early 1930's. The model is not a modular building but features an open back design to give easy access to the interior details.

The model is now on LEGO IDEAS. f you like to vote for the model to be made in to a real set then please visit ideas.lego.com/projects/16ae1e95-cf30-41dd-ae23-36e07668df05

Thanks very much.

I designed a climbing gym made with Lego bricks. It is submitted on Lego Ideas.com. If it will gather 10000 supporters, it will gain the chance to become an official Lego set.

In only two weeks, it already gathered more than 1000 supporters and keep growing. The next milestone is at 5000 and it will give more time to the project.

With your help it might become reality!

Just take a couple of minute of your time, click the link below and find out all the cool details of the build! I hope you will enjoy it and you will login and support it!

Welcome to my new big MOC of 2019: "Berlin Friedrichsberg-Kreuzhain - Studio 19"

I built 2 square meters of LEGO City - a fictional place in my hometown of Berlin including a movie studio.

It took some months of work - November'18 till March'19 to be ready for its first exhibition.

I thought that a city should have omnipresent advertisement so i did some miniature Lego-pun ad posters

A small Lego city alleyway build, used for some of my Super Hero shots.

It is a modular fish market sized 64x32 studs comprising seven pavilions and few bridges. The market is divided into wet goods and dry goods zone, with shops ranged from fish stalls, flower shop and grocery stores at Ground, and cafe and restaurant on the 1st Floor. Vibrant Coral and Dark Azur are adopted as colour palette of the design. Built with several types of window frames, a huge canopy provides weather proection to the people below. Enjoy shopping and eating with proper distancing!

A full view of my custom LEGO MOC: Death Star Diorama – inspired by scenes from Star Wars: A New Hope.

This photo shows the build with closed blast doors and no minifigures, focusing entirely on the structure and interior design.

I tried to pack in as many different Death Star wall designs as I could (there is even a hole for the 'mouse droid'). Therefore, this build is somewhat modular: you can take any of the different wall designs, rearrange and multiply them, and reconfigure them into other Death Star sites.

LEGO Modular MOC - Botanical Garden

Hello to the group.

Below my latest (digital) MOC, a modular building: A botanical garden.

This is my first try of a modular building MOC, I've never tried this before. The design is based on the wonderful LEGO set 41757 Botanical Garden from the LEGO Friends theme.

Some MOCers already designed great MOCs of this set in the modular building standard, but I wanted to realize the MOC as a corner building AND in the 32 x 32 studs dimensions, this that it simply suits to the modular town of my local RLUG afol.lu. Nearly all of the elements and plants of the original set have been included, there was even space left for a parrot enclosure, an aquarium and a small library room.

Unfortunately the roofs are still fixed, so you cannot diassemble. This is something I want to fix when I'll build the MOC in real during the next winter months.

Maybe you however like the MOC. #legolux1973 #lego #legobuilding

This is my flower display for the window at The Television and Movie Store here in Wantage ready for Mother's Day and Easter. It's made up from a combination of the flower sets that Lego do and some extras.

Town House in 1920's style. Bedroom and bathroom on first floor. Salon and dining room on ground floor. Kitchen, sewing corner and servants housing in the basement.

Back exterior.

This house has a number of cuboid bodies linked together by a dark blue tiled hallway hosting a spiral staircase. Large glass windows offer a view of the ground floor and roof garden. Solar panels and home grown vegetables contribute to a sustainable way of living.

Another digital build. The red, blue and green containers can stack on top of the yellow one, as they are half the length.

Think I will end up building these physically.

Lego Antonov An-225 Mriya – The cargo door is functional and the inside better than I thought.

My mission was simple; find the pirates that has been smuggling spices around the city and put an end to them. So that's what I did.

Arrived to the location given, I straight away saw them. They weren't on thier gard, so it was now or never. I was about to strike, but a pirate sawed me and alerted the rest or them. My cover was blown, but that wasn't going to stop me.

One of the pirate didn't want to fight and fled. I killed of the two other ones left behind, and started following the one in the speeder.

Part two comming soon!

I've dreamed of building the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse ever since I first saw the movie as a kid.

Now, in Lego, I have!

Here it is: the most iconic treehouse of all time!

Support this project and you can have your very own Falconhurst Treehouse.

ideas.lego.com/projects/e299db50-89bc-41e5-a69d-1f51520093e4

Designing this set was an awesome challenge. My first attempt completely fell apart. Three months later, after redesigning everything, I was done with a solid model. You might think that this set will break apart, but the building techniques used, invisible in the finished model, make it extremely strong, even to the end of every branch. Technic pieces connect the green base to the inside of the tree and into the floor of the main treehouse. From top to bottom this set is solid. There has never been a Lego set anything like this so support it and make it a reality!

The treehouse has lots of great functions. The stairs fold up, just like in the movie. There is a trap door you can open and close in the floor of the main treehouse; the roof of each treehouse comes off easily so you can play inside each hut; the right treehouse opens in the front so you can set things up without taking off the roof. And there are lots of great details, like the bunk bed, ships steering wheel, shelves with books and trinkets, a small organ and so much more.

It comes with six minifigures, two dogs, and two monkeys. The minifigures are Mr and Mrs Robinson, Fritz, Ernst, Roberta or "Bertie" and Francis.

It consists of about 2,730 pieces and most are really small, but with the use of parts that currently don't come in the colors needed for the treehouse (mostly reddish brown and dark brown) this count could easily be reduced. It is an impressive set that fits nicely on the corner of my desk.

Thanks Bruce for the help with the photos.

A bit of a departure from what I usually build. Got inspired by the concrete sculptures by David Umemoto and decided to make my own in the medium I'm most comfortable in. Eliminating gaps and studs to get a clean pour took some time as I had just enough silicone and concrete for one go at it. It's not perfect but I think the imperfections adds to the weathered look. Will post some process pics on instagram for anyone interested.

After completing the series of Matteo's journey with King Matteo, I decided to make sure all 4 variants were at parity with each other. So that meant I created brickbuilt heads for the original version of Matteo, and Merchant Matteo. After completing the second version of Merchant Matteo, I decided I wasn't happy with his coat made from Ninjago NRG dragon wings and took a second stab at it. The original cape from MM used the old Destiny's Bounty wings, and with a new variant available, I wanted to recreate something akin to the old cape, but with the new wings and much more flair!

Plot wise: Matteo is finally happy and at peace in his life. His pirating days are over, and he uses his immense wealth to settle in a now thriving Lemuria thanks to him establishing trade routes there in his pirating days. Now he spends much of his time running an Apothecary and engaging in philanthropy. He even remarried and adopted a son. While his personal life saw much joy and comfort, not all is well within the world. The four Cardinal Kings who rule over his conquered homeland are becoming increasingly corrupt and war hungry. Not wishing to see his own son or any of his countrymen sent off to war, Matteo must allow his legacy in the light to end and fade, and he will once again return to his old familiar place in the shadows. After all, subterfuge and skulduggery were always his greatest weapons. It is becoming increasingly clear, a revolution must take place, the reign of the kings must end!
