My U-wing V2.0 is officially complete! This ship is one of the best things to come out of the Disney Era of Star Wars and I wanted to do this amazing design justice. I originally created a U-wing Moc ~7 years ago and while it was fine for the time, looking back it has some major issues. New part releases and some greater experience helped me craft my version 2.0.
I'm also excited to announce that INSTRUCTIONS ARE AVAILABLE at www.brickvault.toys. if you're interested, please feel free to head over there and purchase them so you can also build this for yourself!
I will be posting more of this one as well, so also keep an eye out for that. I hope yall enjoy!
One night I got the urge to make a super sleek, open top racer using my 2 favourite colours (black and dark red). I wanted it to be a really dense, compact build with a smooth upper body and badass looking engine chassis underneath. So I did.

As my exploration of Prequel ships continues, I'm trying to shift my focus to Minifig-scale more, and decided to give a crack at Obi-Wan's sleek Delta-7 from Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
At exactly 400 pieces, this compact and angular ship was full of technical challenges, especially with the constraint of making a proper interior that could accommodate a full Obi-Wan Minifigure without ending up with a bulky design.
Following my "wings must be as thin as possible" philosophy (like the Eta-2), I used a combination of plates & tiles for the outline of the wings, and bricks on their sides for the rest: this resulted in 2-plate thick wings, which give the ship all its slenderness, especially seen from lower angles. At this scale, and given how compact the ship is in-universe, I wanted to respect the slim and sharp look of the original design.
Making a functional cockpit with comfortable space was the most daunting task as I needed to securely attach the fin section and both angled fuselage parts that surround the cockpit without using any vertical space, where Obi-Wan sits. I also managed to incorporate a dashboard that doesn't obstruct the pilot's view and depicts the screen fairly well.
The model features detachable landing gear to be displayed on the ground, as well as a canted stand for a more dynamic pose. The model is very stable overall and perfectly swooshable.

This shuttle design was created to smuggle assets off planet Terra (Earth) during the evacuation of Earth, 1 week before a great planetary battle that would change the Earth forever.
The shuttles were unarmed and fully cloaked, and after the war several variants were still manufactured, including an armed variant for patrol, and a civilian variant.
The design was based on the Resistance Transport Shuttles in The Last Jedi, and it was honestly really fun, yet hard, to design all those angles and curves!

A bee sized nano drone used to infiltrate bee colonies and extract valuable information on their plans to take over the world.
It feels like ages since I made a freestyle spacecraft. I often find myself influenced by insects for some reason and when I saw the City Oceans Mini Sub Lego set (60263) I thought I might be able to make some kind of Viper using it's yellow mid-section. That grew into this bee nano drone. Because.. bees rock!
I might continue this and make a series of insect themed robotic sci-fi craft...

Darth Mor’s personal death Squad,
A class built exactly for his warmongering and terror.
Darth Mor’s Star Fighter is flanked by tow of this when he needs a “ little “ more firepower.
Hope you guys like it, let me know what you guys think.
Perseverance is an original sci-fi ship creation and designated as a Battlecruiser. The ship draws inspiration from many sci-fi designs including: the Daedalus (Stargate), Nostromo (Alien), Bengal-class (Wing Comdr/Star Citizen), Truman-class (The Expanse), Pegasus (Battlestar Galactica), Forward onto Dawn (Halo) and many others
Some key design notes:
- Hard sci-fi rules: No shields; ballistic based weapons only(rail guns, missiles/torpedos, and PDCs)
- No artificial gravity, no FTL drive: ship environment is zero G when not accelerating/decelerating; relies on massive accelerating/decelerating chemical rocket engines and maneuvering thrusters distributed around center of weight
- Realistic automation and AI tech level: minimally crewed (200-300 sailors and officers with 100 marines); not a troop carrier and does not carry air wing of “fighters” besides unmanned repair drones and surface shuttles
- Carries and supplies its own battle group of screening ships (2 large destroyers and 3 destroyer escorts); the screeners can all be docked (externally and internally) with the mothership while not in combat to conserve fuel and conceal strength
- Not designed for atmospheric flight: no unnecessary decorative wings or stabilizers
All connections and colors in this build are designed to be buildable with physical bricks. Ship is designed in 1:200 scale.
My end goal and hope is to convey a design that blends “the rule of cool” with a sense of realism and feasibility (i.e a ship that could be built in 5-10 generations). All suggestions and critiques are highly appreciated!
In case you've ever wondered how Santa manages to deliver all these presents in a single night. Well, he's got his squad of little helpers and they can build him SPACE SLEIGH!!! 😉🎅🚀
This powerful machine is 100% bio-fueled as it runs on milk and cookies. Also fitted with chocolate chips afterburner!
A big Cruiser for the Blacktron faction - built only with parts available when the Blacktron theme was released (1987).
The design is obviously inspired by the famous Classic Space set 6985, but my design is heavier, longer and with a lot more wings ^^
The ship divide into 2 parts and roofs can be removed to give access to the interior.
I was very satisfied with this MOC and planned to keep it assembled, but it has too much useful (and pricey ^^) parts into it... so I will take it apart, sadly.
Hope you'll like it anyway :-D
The Crossguard-227 belongs to the Explorer Class, its the biggest exploration ship of the Alliance, used mostly to explore and catalogue unknown regions in the universe.
The crew of the Crossguard-227 consists of three brave adventurers, Crispo the ghostly dog and pilot of the SHIP, Shep the guard dog, and Rex the crocodile and the navigator of the crew.
My entry for SHIPtember
The SHIP is 100 studs long and 136 studs wide, so far my biggest SHIP
The Unitron SF-84 MkVII “Myrmidon” Space Superiority Fighter is more than capable of catching, outmaneuvering, and dispatching almost any small craft that Unitron’s enemies might send against it. The massive engines on a relatively small frame do come at the cost of decreased endurance.
The design is a bit of an X-wing / A-wing hybrid.
What a better location for Benny's 30th than where he used to hang out with his old pal River Phoenix.
lucky for Benny he left in ever so slightly better state.
MOC created for the Flickr Group Benny's 30th Birthday bash.
In June 2024 I needed to build some vehicles for a LUG display, so the first one I made was a 1973 Plymouth Fury II with the color scheme used by the Pennsylvania State Police at the time.
After the LUG event ended, I converted it into a hovercar for the Xenoball Run race layout at BrickFair Virginia 2024. A little over a month ago I had the opportunity to add something to a museum exhibit, so I built another copy of the unconverted car for that purpose.
Putting a new 'testicular' spin on my latest MOC is this blog by the Lego Car Blog.
I genuinely had never considered such a ballsy angle to this build but there you go. Someone on reddit said the guns look like wieners too. So that's nice. 😌

By channelling the power of electrical storms through its lightning rod, the ThunderGlide can stay airborne indefinitely, or… at least until the sun comes out! This single seater aircraft is a perfect choice as a reconnaissance aircraft on stormy planets thanks to its radar mapping capabilities and zero net emissions.
Another year, another ship… and a new Digitally Assembled video? Why yes!!
I created 红海 (Hóng Hăi) using the AI tool Midjourney to produce an image to base the design off of.
I worked with my friend and incredible concept artist, Till Freitag, to explore Midjourney and challenge us to create two very unique looking spaceships inspired by Midjourney’s prompt.
Are you curious how we created our designs? Follow the link to check out the video with Till and I on Digitally Assembled: youtu.be/kc8M9Iw9B_0
For those unfamiliar, SHIPtember is an annual LEGO community challenge where a builder must create a spaceship 100+ studs long on the longest axis within 1 months’ time. This is my third SHIPtember. This year was special with the inclusion of Midjourney and collabing with Till. The ship took roughly 62 hrs and was made in Bricklink Studio, Cinema 4D with Arnold, and Photoshop using my Puget Systems machine. Till’s art used Blender and Photoshop.(you can find his version on his and my Instagram page)
Here are my thoughts on my design’s fictional bio:
红海 (Hóng Hăi) is a Chinese deep space radiation research ship launched in the year 3090. It was made by the 太空海军研究会 (The Space Naval Research Society) in 3087 and reached Saturn on May 21st 3090. Its primary mission was to research a strange phenomenon of new unknown forms of radiation occurring near Saturn.
The ship is equipped with a large laser array to study the phenomenon and radiation levels up close. The main “sail” carries billions of sensors to detect various forms of radiation. It hosts a crew of 7 who are well shielded inside the spacecraft when not inside the large rear observation deck. The ship is 632.5 ft tall (192.79 meters). 7 years into its mission findings discovered the unique radiation was caused by The Shell, an alien inter-dimensional artifact discovered by German astronauts in 3093 near Neptune. The purpose of The Shell is yet to be determined but the radiation left in its wake was found to cause disruptions in the fabric of reality wherever it resided. Hóng Hăi’s taikonauts have been recognized for their findings upon return to earth.
The Lego model is 114 studs long (35.8in), 138 studs high (43. 6in), and 87 studs wide (27.3in) and has 7732 pieces.

The crew of the Spectra is here to change the world. They spread joy, music, and color wherever they go. With Bifröst ship-to-surface transporters and supernumerary light drives, the Spectra connects the galaxy in a tapestry of color.
122 studs long.
Wow, I knew SHIPtember would be tough, and it certainly lived up to it. Most of my MOCs involve a lot of rebuilding, but at this scale each iteration takes so much longer.
Overall I'm pleased with the outcome, having achieved my vision for the overall aesthetic and construction. And it's so solid that it's swooshable, a small miracle given the DUPLO plating and lack of a Technic frame.
I'm still going to be putting some work in on the interior, so look forward to those reveals further down the line.
- Container Space Ship Class 2 (Dark blue)
- Tanker Space Ship Class 3 (White)

1991’s Blacktron II little battle pack, The Two-Pilot Craft. What a name.
This fun little craft is about as basic as it gets. No printed pieces, other than the minifigs, but the weird thing has charm!
Blacktron II is a great space sub-theme with the black, white, and neon green color scheme. Really screams retro LEGO to me.
Acquiring this set was really just to grab a couple more of these minifigs for cheap, but I’m happy with this funny little craft.
More ‘90s LEGO to be featured soon, including more (larger) Blacktron II

For once, the mission was going well. Skav had managed a great insertion, dodged imperial patrols, sliced a security console, and then fate intervened. He rounded a corner and nearly ran headfirst into what would turn out to be the most infuriating woman he'd ever met. Even worse, she was right where the younglings *should* have been.
"So you're Skav?" she asked, all arched eyebrows and superior tone. At first she seemed like one more glib imperial, but something was a little off.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Skav asked.
"You can call me Trace. I'm here to join your crew," she replied.
"So the younglings were a lie? I dodged my way through the heart of an Imperial space station for nothing? And you want me to trust you enough to join my crew?"
"Look, I'm an Antarian Ranger. If you haven't heard of us, we're the guys the Jedi turn down. That means I ran the same risks you did. I've learned to be careful, but you... You could do with some help."
"If you really want to join up, maybe try getting on my good side..." Skav replied.
"I'm not trying to insult you, but I've read your file, you missed the entire clone wars because the Jedi needed someone to bow and scrape to gangsters, and no knight wanted the job. You don't know combat. I do. You need a strategic thinker on board. You need me."
"I'm getting out of here," Skav said, turning to leave.
"Wait! Not that way. My HQ says there's a patrol inbound. That console slice of yours got you in, but it also got you noticed."
"You've got a HQ now?"
"The Refuge. We provide a safe shelter for political scapegoats and whistle-blowers. We're hoping that one day it'll turn into something more."
"Now I get it. You want me to join your 'Refuge'. A real-life Jedi might give you some clout."
"Skav, I've read your file. If you're a Jedi, then I'm a lieutenant."
"Wait, that sounded like sarcasm. What rank *are* you?"
"Private..." she muttered.
"Bantha dung! Your 'Refuge' send a single private to recruit me?"
"Look, do you want my help, or not?" she said, resentfully.
"Fine. We can discuss this back on the ship. But we'd both better get promotions fast, or I'm out."
"Works for me," she grinned, and led the way out of the complex.

Blacktron Tenderizer
Softening up the enemy.
I was playing one of those video games the other day where the main forms of offence are melee weapons. One of the implements of destruction that I picked up was a humble little tenderising hammer. Like the things you use to soften up steaks before cooking them. Which turned out to be a real skull smasher! and which, in turn, gave me an idea for the next ship in my Blacktron fleet. I imagine in battle this poor chap is sent in first so he probably doesn’t have a very long life expectancy.
Here is another custom Spaceship design. I think the light aqua and orange work well together and am proud of the way i was able to incorporate that windscreen piece.
Micro, of course...
Second NoVVember 2011 Viper. Those studs count as wings at this scale, you saw them! ; )

The Blacktron BLB-7
Superfast long-range bomber-looter. With 2 ridiculously big and strong engines, bomb bay, and cargo space.
► Instructions for the Venator are available at BrickVault!
The Venator is probably my favorite capital ship in the SW franchise. So what better tribute to this ship than bringing it to life a second time? And since this version will likely be the last, I wanted this build to set a milestone in my work. A proof of my dedication to a spaceship I love so much. Enter the Ultimate Venator-class Star Destroyer!
At almost 7,000 pieces and 85cm (33.4") long, this model is a faithful, screen-accurate replica of the Venator featured in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Neither quite UCS-sized nor Midi-Scale like my Negotiator, it had to be the most refined Venator I could possibly make. I modeled it closely after the source material to capture all the proportions, angles and intricacies of the original design at a reasonable size.
Although this isn't a direct update to my Negotiator but a separate model, the 25% increase in size gave me a lot more wiggle room, opening the door to drastically more complex design choices: fully SNOT wings on both the top and underside, clean tapers and angles, brick-built Open Circle Fleet symbols... although challenging, this intermediate scale offered just enough space to achieve the prop look I strive for.
And the best part is, this model scales perfectly with 2mpaired's Eviscerator ISD. I realized this shortly after settling on the size... the idea of pairing such a beauty with a matching-scale Venator made me even more motivated about this project.
Although it's a pure display model, its sturdy integrated stand makes it easy to handle safely. Lateral hangars can be switched between closed doors and deflector shields for variety. In addition to the classic version, the all-gray variant of the ship is also included for all you Empire addicts.

Slicing em and dicing em.
This build was a lot of fun until it turned out to be 11 studs wide. If you want a real challenge try creating symmetry with an 11 stud wide vehicle. It’s a real pain in the neck. But apart from that I’m especially pleased with the fact that the circular saw at the front of this ship actually spins round!
I’m thinking this fleet of Blacktron ships are combat vessels that fight without using guns. So the first one was a giant battering ram while this one just chops up anything in it’s way. Lovely!
Another one for my Media Scrapbook folder. My Bee drone was blogged by The Brothers Brick. This is the 8th blog they have written about my work and it's always a real buzz when they cover something I've made....pun definitely intended ;)

Here is a baby replica of the latest iteration of the LEGO Galaxy Explorer set 10497. It still has the main play features of the original set just down sized. Pop off canopy, steering wheels, opening rear end with boarding ramp, airlock sliding door and last but not least ride on booster engines!
This was a blast to build. And was inspired by the builds @troublesbricking made while I was travelling Europe. While on holiday I managed to track down this squad of space babies so that when I got as soon as I got back from holiday I could get into building this moc.
