Easily one of the hardest things to pull off in Lego is a dome. I worked on a few concepts this morning and this is the best of them so far. Lots of gaps to fill, but the fit and shape are correct. I don't want to go with too many off the wall techniques as I want to keep this buildable by the public.

Been working on a modernized USS Missouri (last configuration, Operation Desert Storm ~1990s). In addition to the changes listed, significant portions of the front and aft decks and superstructure have been altered as well. I really enjoyed the rebuilding process and learned a lot about the modernization efforts along the way.
Here is your first look the interior of the citadel of Vardos.
on the first floor is a huge foyer dominated by the massive spiral staircases, volcanic feature, and huge supporting columns. For scale you can see two Storm troopers standing at their guards stations.

It was 7 minutes past the time to go home. The dog was not running or asleep, and neither was the dog dead, but he did sit and watch. It was the red bike that was dead, I mean...there was no garden fork in the dog—none at all—but there was garden fork in the man's tyre. The man had a tear in his eye.

DKM Admiral Graf Spee, scale 1:155
Called pocket battleship by the Brits, the Admiral Graf Spee was a Panzerschiff, started construction in the republic of Weimar. Due to the restrictions of the Versailles Treaty, the germany put battleship main artillerie on a ship of the size of a heavy cruiser. It was sunk by its own crew in 1939 after a battle against multiple british cruisers near the cost of Montevideo.

Sank: 17th of December 1939

The only german aircraft carrier ever built which got never finished. Captured by the Soviets the ship and tested bombs and other explosion devices on her, she sank at the 18th of June 1947 in the Baltic Sea.

The story takes place in the early days of the Empire, when Stormtroopers still used Clone Trooper armor and equipment.
Phew 3rd times charm! I was given another helping hand by Colin Lang and directed to a sculpting tutorial. That gave my the insight I needed to get the body proportions right. Just goes to show how much LEGO does overlap with other visual arts.
Now onto the howdah after I do some housekeeping and make sure all the connections are sound.

My small scene around the Imperial colored version of my Republic Cargo container, built for our @darktimesgroup Antolus l collab displayed at @_bricktastic 2024.
The story takes place in the early days of the Empire, when Stormtroopers still used Clone Trooper armor and equipment.
The build was designed around the Cargo container, that I made last october,based on the one seen in Battlefront 2. I’m really proud of it’s design, I love the external details and smoothness, it’s quite solid, but also features a full usable interior and working doors on both ends, just like in the game. More on this build later!
I’m also happy with the lamp post design and how I was able to integrate lights. The battery pack for the lights was hidden in the base under the container for easy access. It also served as a power source for all my other connected builds.
The Probe Droid is also my own build, with accurate arms and head, inspired by @thetrendingbrick and the latest official version.
The main walls are complete! Surprising, I was out very little where the two walls connected and managed to create a very clean seam :)
