I tried to match the proportions of standard Bigfigs with this one. It came out a bit bigger than I wanted it to be though.
Unfortunately it doesn't fit a figure either. Couldn't get that to work for the life of me.
I just wanted to find a legal-ish way of attaching this HF Brain Attack visor piece onto a BIONICLE G2-style head.
Update: The Mushroom House becomes a Set! The design was chosen for the BDP Series 2 and will be available for pre-order in June 2024!
_____
I need your help again! My Mushroom House is now part of the BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 and could become a set with your vote.
After it had no luck on LEGO Ideas after reaching the 10k, this is a second chance to make it happen! Thanks so much.
_____
Before submitting the Mushroom House to the BDP I had to make some adjustments which ended up in rebuilding the whole thing and making numerous little improvements. Also, thanks to many new parts that I could use.

I used to have a tradition on Christmas, I would treat myself with one of these small vintage sets which I love so much. I've got this one about 3 years ago and it was fairly cheap, as it was stated as "used" by the seller. While the box was opened, to my surprise the bricks turned to be immaculate, crunching new – if you owned unused old bricks you know what I'm talking about – so I guess the car must have been built once or twice, then taken apart and stored away.
I don't know what I love most about it, how proportionate it is despite the minimal number of parts, how good the embossed prints feel (chrome on the front brick!), the awesome box that makes a perfect garage without having to take the car apart, or maybe the fact that it comes from an age when those who enjoy(ed) LEGO were less concerned with things like "legal", "techniques", "purism" and other uptight expressions describing the otherwise free and unrestricted act of playing.
Speaking of which, I can only hope that LEGO will stop messing around with turning illegal techniques into legal ones – like they did with those clip-held tiles in the 76042 SHIELD Helicarrier – as God forbid, theorists might get the headaches. Just kidding ;P
Anyway, whatever there is that makes it, this little car fills me with purely illegal joy every time I get it out of its box.
While I love Mike Psiaki's 6-wide JP Explorer, I have a special place in my heart for 5-wide vehicles and the challenge they present. I've wanted to do this ever since I did my Jurassic Park Jeep.
Powered by steam and lifted by electrostatic force, Lady Valen's speeder was a marvel of the modern age. Whilst others were taking to the skies in their steam-powered airships and balloons, at street level, no wheeled contraption or walker was a match for Lady Valen and her faithful companion Artemis the cat.
This speeder bike was created for the Speeder Bike Contest 2016.
"If you must know more, his name is Beorn. He is very strong, and he is a skin-changer."
This is my entry for the fourth round of MELO (middle earth lego olympics ). The theme was "creature" so I chose represent Beorn which is one of my favorite characters of LOTR. I hope you will like it ;)

Lo and behold rival Lego adventurer Johnny Thunder is also in search of the Jade Frog and appears from the foliage "hand over the Frog Indy, I'll always be the best Lego Adventurer"
My third beast for the LEGO Kaiju Monster Inspiration series.
I named it VenomTentacle, because he has venomous spikes on his tentacles.

Finally, decent pictures, after my quick snap on Saturday.
As a child I was a huge fan of the TV series Airwolf, so it was a great pleasure for me to finally build 'The Lady', as part of my collection of movie and TV vehicles.
Dennis Bosman paid me a visit yesterday and took his photography equipment along (something to do with a book he's working on). He took a couple of pictures of Airwolf with a nice dark background.
Micro mech suit for minifigs! Coming back to micro builds is always a great fun, this time also with cockpit.
So, I wanted to build in the Steampunk theme again, but didn't want to do my usual mash-up with Star Wars. I thought it would be fun to try a Gundam in this theme. As far as I know, only a handful of Gunpla artists have tried this and no one has tried it in Lego. Whatcha think?

This is inspired by the Halloween episode from Shrek 'Bride of Gingy'. My own take on the gingerbread man gone wrong when you don't have enough sugar in the recipe....talk about tampering with forces beyond our control....
Hello everyone! I am a Japanese Lego builder. I love fantasy. This work is packed with my favorite European architecture, • decorations • ceiling paintings • angels • furniture • chandeliers and more. This image is part of the work. I hope you like it! I'm not good at English. I'm sorry if I'm wrong 😅
