After debuting at Lego World Utrecht past week, here it is for all of you as well!

The entrance has been sitting on my desk over the past 2-3 years, but I finally turned it into the kind of castle I wanted to make.

It was fun playing around with the colours and balancing the pirates and cyberpunk elements into a good and balanced composition.

This one was really fun to work on and to see it come together, although I might have damaged my eyes again with all the neon yellow (And yes, most of it is not visible in the photo..)

anyway, it has been some time sinceI finished a build, but hopefully the next one will be here a bit quicker!

Enjoy my crazy brain again hihi

Love y'all

Jente

Greetings all! This was built for the Flag Your Kingdom Contest on Classic-Castle.

This build was quite fun to create, especially since I've never done anything oriental before. I was very pleased with how the small dojo turned out. Also, I don't think anyone has used the tile technique I used for the bridge (to create a smooth bridge). Credits for the water technique, however, go to Isaac S.

I got some Merchandise!

While I do like walking tank style mechs with heavy weaponry and thick boxy armor, I sometimes feel like there are many unexplored aesthetics within the mecha genre. I thought it would be fun to do a mech with more organic elements and no guns.

In the 80´s commercials they often used outside dioramas for display the toys.

A couple months back, Simon and myself decided we wanted to do some sort of collaboration for BrickCon, even though I wasn't able to attend.

What you see here is the result. Fond memories of reading Calvin and Hobbes growing up for both of us made it an easy choice for what to do!

Hope you guys enjoy!

The Mobile Medical Unit is like a space ambulance/ER. Comes complete with two operating/recovery tables and all the supplies needed to stabilize patients before their extraction. Huge sensor array guides the MMU with uplink to the carrier vessel for increased guidance.

Yeah, I know there are hundrets of test chambers out there already, but I couldn't help myself.

Don't try to find a solution for this one, it only shows a small part of the whole chamber.

Turrets and Portal Cannon by Tyler (Legohaulic), thanks for permission to use them!

Escaping from the tomb and putting someone else in their place.

Rather than quoting Bible verses you're going to hear a whole lot today and half of you will discredit as cult utterances, I thought I'd just put this out instead: Angels, Heaven, and other aspects of our faith are concepts difficult to wrap one's head around, and right now we can't. So a lot of people dismiss them as petty imaginings and larger-than-life reflections of things we can see and touch. "Giant humans with bird wings? Haha how pagan."

Consider, just for a brief while, the implications of perhaps these being original concepts; our concepts and ideas little reflections that are missing pieces, and the only way those who saw angels or Heaven could describe them was through Earthly terms, resulting in outrageous-sounding descriptions filled with lions' heads, wheels within wheels, and a lot of gold when there simply was no way to utter the element that made their appearance unutterable. Plato, though not completely right, had hit on something with his Myth of the Cave, now you just need someone to guide you out of it...

This brief little build is also destined to be an entry for FLONAPRIL, it seems: www.flickr.com/groups/flonapril/

I'm thinking I can get this a bit closer at this scale...

My entry for the 2013 MOCathalon, category 'Tropical Paradise'.

My tropical paradise is somewhere secluded, somewhere to get away from it all. You can keep your tropical beaches - the sand gets everywhere, and who wants to lie around on a beach all day? Not me, I'd prefer a place to explore, and find the perfect spot... a tropical forest.

Full set here.

Light assault vehicle

Definitely my favourite MOC. :3

I updated my old one a bit 'cos (Hopefully) this will go on display at Brickworld!

Its frogust. Here's a froge

A Christmas gift for my sister, Littlehaulic. It's a Lego version of her calico cat.

FebRovery Day 7

M:Tron Speeder bike was one of the most popular vehicles to zip around.

Apparently I lack an M:Tron minifig, so I made one as best as I could.

Yeah, so it happened. I used wheels as engines. Even more, technically biggest Lego wheels ever, not counting tyres of course.

So I built an M113. On the surface it might seem like a pretty simple build, but its not really. The front slope was a massive headache to get right. Credit to Ekjohnson for the idea, I was fiddling around with just the one half size plate forever until I saw your awesome model and thought to add the plate, if that makes any sense, haha.

I added some numbers on the side because that seemed like the cool thing to do, I guess. All in all a relatively quick build so I might post a rebuild in the next couple days once I get the time to really refine it. Until then, enjoy! And thanks for checking it out.

PS, check out my YouTube page. Just search 'Carpet Lego' on YouTube.

I did the Lego thing...because it's January...

Please ignore the ludicrously stubby arms.

I have a few things from my backlog to post as well as some more drone-y goodness coming soon, so keep an eye out!

Enjoy!

So much barf....so sick! It's just too much!

Second Car I've ever built (not counting chibis), and the first real car. The back's pretty lame, but I like how to rest turned out.

A small antique shop specialising in maps, sea faring books and other nautical antiques, built for the Rebrick Modular Building Anniversary Contest.

Been wanting to come up with a universal fuel cell for ships for some time. It was always a fun thing as kid when to try to always incorporate the basic one at that time (2x2 round with plate on bottom and tile on top. This feels like a modern variation on that old friend. I need some 1x1 rounds in transclear for 'empty' ones. I do like the T bar on this that will act as a plug in for energy transfer conduits or the like. They are also stackable and lock in top to bottom nicely.

Every night, when I get up to get a glass of water, I find the Janitor quietly mopping all the floors and cleaning all the sidewalks in Lynn's LEGO City. I'm thinking of buying more of this minifig and placing them all around the house. Then maybe all my floors will be clean in the morning? :-)

There are a load of these out there, but I thought I'd start to work on one too. The TMNT vehicle is there for scale reference.

Inspired by the District 9 movie and the other awesome renditions of this vehicle from these great builders: Guy Smiley flic.kr/p/Bkpeo8, Project Azazel flic.kr/p/gnBH6e, _Tiler flic.kr/p/AUFtk8.

This still has a bit of work to be done on it but the bones are there. It seats 4 minifigs inside and the doors are functional. I need some white mudguards (among other pieces) to get this in better shape but thought I'd share it as it stands for the moment :)
