Animated design of a 2' x 2' high density LED grow setup. Using Snowryder to compensate for the decreased light penetration of the LED's. Snowryder grows to a height of 12 - 14 inches giving a good yield of 15 - 25 gr per plant. In this 4 square foot area there are 16 plants...do the math! I show the use of 1, 2, and 4 LED panels. Due to the fact that the LED's can be 2 - 6" from the plants and the directional properties of LED's, I prefer the 4 panel configuration as it will tend to give less problems with shadows and compensate better for the short comings of LED's.

Feb. 2, 2011 -- There are really only a handful of players out there who know drum technique to such a degree that they can confidently get onstage and convincingly play in the shadow of the late John Bonham, Led Zeppelin's legendary drummer. Enter Ryan Moore... A drum section lead for MarchFourth Marching Band, Ryan brings an aggressive style and finesse to the classic Moby Dick drum solo, a piece that Bonham would play anywhere from 6 to 30 minutes. Watch Ryan's lively unedited 8-minute cut and you'll see that there's no question that he's done a lot of homework and spent quite a bit of time studying the master.

MaxM has four 8-bit analog inputs, usable in BlinkM light scripts or as an I2C input device. Here Inputs #0,#1,#2 are hooked up to three potentiometer knobs which control the amount of Red, Green, and Blue. An Arduino is also talking to the MaxM over I2C, uploading new light scripts and reading the inputs too.
The MaxM is being powered by Arduino, which in turn is being powered by a laptop.

More buyers are now choosing LED walls, particularly the very popular LED walls. Their picture quality rivals the best that plasma TVs can offer, at a more efficient level of energy consumption. A LED display wall is also superior to the standard LCD TV in terms of overall picture quality.
What gives a LED TV an edge is, of course, the more sophisticated LED technology. “LED” refers to light emitting diodes, which provide illumination to the display and produce the picture. LEDs are better than the cold cathode fluorescent lights found in standard LCD TVs, in that they deliver better, more vivid images.
In addition, some LEDs have a feature called “local dimming.” This means that when a picture in a scene requires it, some LEDs are turned off completely. As a result, some parts of the screen are in total darkness while others continue to be lit. This produces very dramatic, deep blacks. An LCD TV is simply incapable of this, because the fluorescent light tubes are always on, and so the blacks in a picture are never completely black.
There are two ways that the LEDs may be laid out at the back of a 42″ LED. In “full-array” configuration, the LEDs are laid out behind the entire display. In the “edge-lit” configuration, the LEDs are placed only on the sides or edges of the panel. But still, even if only edge-lit, the lighting can reach all parts of the display including the middle, using what are called “light guides”.
Thus, some 42″ TVs may be full-array with or without local dimming, while others may be edge-lit, again with or without local dimming. The most common in the market are those that are edge-lit without local dimming, which are also the thinnest models. The ones that perform best are the full-array with local dimming type, the original type of LED wall that came out.
Buying a TV has become a lot more complicated than it was years ago. There are so many things to consider, starting with what kind of TV to get. Should one go for LCD or plasma? LED or OLED? And what size is best? Which brand stands out from the rest?
The latest TV technology is the OLED, or Organic Light Emitting Diode. OLED TVs are the thinnest and offer the best picture quality, but they are the most expensive as well. Their life span is also not as long as that of other TVs, hence an OLED TV is not a very practical choice unless you don’t mind throwing away a hefty sum of money for something that’s excellent but won’t last very long.
Next are the LED display, less pricey but a cut above standard LCD TVs. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, referring to the light used to illuminate the screen and produce a picture. Standard LCD TVs use fluorescent tubes, which give limited color saturation with no deep blacks.
With 42-inch LED display wall, you get very clear and crisp pictures, with wide color variety and superb contrast. Compared to their LCD and plasma counterparts, they are also more energy efficient.
All things considered, 42-inch led walls are the best choice. They provide excellent picture quality at reasonable prices. True, they are usually more expensive than LCD TVs, but the enhanced picture quality is worth the extra dollars.
Many brands offer their own models of 42-inch led display walls. SBC will be the best choice.

The Armistice Day parade on November 11, 1944, in Paris was a historic, jubilant first Allied military procession since liberation, led by Winston Churchill and Charles de Gaulle down the Champs-Élysées, marking France's re-emergence with immense crowds, wreath-laying at the Arc de Triomphe, and celebrations of liberation after years of Nazi occupation.
Key Events:
Procession: Churchill and de Gaulle, with other dignitaries, rode in an open car from the War Ministry, across the Seine, and up the packed Champs-Élysées.
Crowds: Parisians filled sidewalks, windows, and rooftops, cheering wildly and shouting "Vive Churchill!" and "Vive de Gaulle!".
Arc de Triomphe: The leaders visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, placing wreaths and reviving the eternal flame in a solemn ceremony.
Military Presence: An American Army band led a detachment of U.S. infantry and military police, marking the first Allied parade since liberation.
Atmosphere: The event combined remembrance for WWI fallen with the joyous celebration of Paris's recent liberation (August 1944) and France's restored sovereignty.
Significance:
It was a powerful symbol of renewed French national spirit and unity under de Gaulle's Free French government.
It solidified the Anglo-French alliance and marked a turning point in France's role in the war, ensuring it was among the victorious powers
General Marie-Pierre Koenig was a key figure in Paris's liberation parades in August 1944, notably marching with De Gaulle down the Champs-Élysées after its liberation, but the major Armistice Day (Nov 11) 1944 parade in Paris featured Winston Churchill and De Gaulle reviewing Allied troops (including French, American, Canadian) led by Koenig, celebrating the city's freedom with huge crowds. Koenig, as the new Governor of Paris, led processions, but the big November event was a grand symbol of Allied victory and French renewal, with Koenig inspecting troops alongside other generals.
Key Events & Koenig's Role:
August 1944 (Liberation): After Paris's liberation, Koenig was present with De Gaulle and Generals Bradley, Eisenhower, and Leclerc during the iconic liberation march down the Champs-Élysées, a joyous event marking the end of Nazi occupation.
November 11, 1944 (Armistice Day): This was a massive victory parade. Winston Churchill visited Paris, and he and De Gaulle reviewed troops, including French, British (Guards, RAF), Canadian, and American forces.
Koenig's Leadership: As the new Governor of Paris, General Koenig led the procession of troops on this historic day, inspecting units and acknowledging the cheering crowds, symbolizing France's resurgence.
Significance:
These parades, especially the Armistice Day one, weren't just military displays but powerful symbols of Paris's return to freedom, with Koenig as a central French military figure alongside the Allied leaders, cementing the city's liberation.
