Ryan Moore - Moby Dick (2011) on Vimeo by Diggable Monkey

Feb. 2, 2011 -- There are really only a handful of players out there who know drum technique to such a degree that they can confidently get onstage and convincingly play in the shadow of the late John Bonham, Led Zeppelin's legendary drummer. Enter Ryan Moore... A drum section lead for MarchFourth Marching Band, Ryan brings an aggressive style and finesse to the classic Moby Dick drum solo, a piece that Bonham would play anywhere from 6 to 30 minutes. Watch Ryan's lively unedited 8-minute cut and you'll see that there's no question that he's done a lot of homework and spent quite a bit of time studying the master.
