De 9702 van Locon werd in 1955 door de English Electric Company gebouwd en heeft daarmee inmiddels de respectabele leeftijd van 61 jaar bereikt. Oorspronkelijk kwam de machine met het nummer 611 in dient bij NS waarna de machine in 1993 omgenummerd werd naar de 676 nadat reeds in 1990 radiografische bediening was ingebouwd. Na de opsplitsing van NS in 1999 werd deze machine in januari toebedeeld aan NS Cargo waarna deze in augustus alsnog bij NS Reizigers terecht kwam.
In april 2005 belandde de machine vervolgens bij Rotterdam Rail Feeding om rangeerwerkzaamheden in de Rotterdamse haven te gaan verrichten waarna de locomotief, die inmiddels omgenummerd was tot RRF 4, in 2012 in de Botlek als reserve kwam te staan waarna de machine later verhuisde naar Pernis. In 2013 werd de machine administratief afgevoerd.
Op 18 juni 2013 neemt Locon de machine over waarna deze op 3 juli 2013 overgebracht wordt naar Wezep voor groot onderhoud. De machine wordt daarbij tevens in de Locon kleurstelling gebracht waarna deze op 31 juli 2013 wordt afgeleverd in Apeldoorn voor het rijden van de vuiltrein ter vervanging van de RRF 5 zodat deze ook een grote revisie kan ondergaan en tevens als 9701 in de Locon-kleurstelling kan worden gebracht waarna deze in Wijster terecht komt voor het rangeren van de vuiltrein bij de vuilverbranding van de VAM.
In december 2013 verliep het inzetcertificaat van dit type locomotieven waardoor deze niet meer op de hoofdbaan mochten worden ingezet. Locon kon hierdoor de Hippels alleen nog maar in Wijster gebruiken aangezien deze hier op privaat terrein rijden. In Apeldoorn wordt de 9702 in februari 2014 tijdelijk terzijde gesteld.
De 9702 wordt van 21 juli tot 31 augustus 2014 ingezet voor werkzaamheden op het metronet van de RET in Rotterdam waar het gehele traject tussen de stations Tussenwater en Waalhaven wordt vernieuwd. Hiervoor werd de machine op 17 juli 2014 per dieplader overgebracht naar de Rotterdamse Waalhaven. Na het afronden van de werkzaamheden wordt de locomotief naar Wijster gebracht om samen met de 9701 de rangeerwerkzaamheden voor de vuiltrein uit te voeren.
In augustus 2015 keert de 9701 terug naar Apeldoorn om aldaar weer de vuiltreinen te gaan rijden omdat het inzetcertificaat inmiddels weer is afgegeven. Tot inzet van dit Bakkie komt het in Apeldoorn echter niet vaak meer aangezien de V100 dankzij zijn radiobesturing meer geliefd is bij het personeel. De 9702 wordt echter nog iedere werkdag in Wijster ingezet, zo ook op zaterdag 20 februari 2016 als deze staat te wachten totdat de vuiltrein bij de VAM is gelost. Vervolgens zal de Hippel de trein uithalen waarna de 9901 kan omlopen waarna de trein via Zwolle Rangeer en Deventer Goederen naar Apeldoorn zal vertrekken.

I have changed this character a lot in many ways, the outfit, the backstory and even his alliance of being a villain. I quite liked the idea of making him a hero with a sympathetic backstory with a personal vendetta against Norman Osborn.
Tell me what y'all think! My version of his backstory is blow!

Vulture - Blackie Drago
- When working on a secret experiment at OSCORP for Norman Osborn regarding the ability of flight Blackie found a dark secret in the laboratory, Scientists were using DNA from the 1st Vulture (Adrian Toomes) after his death. Scientists had figured out how to get the human body to grow and adapt to flight by sprouting "fleshy" wings like that of a bat using stem cells from the previous vultures blood to make a "V-Serum" containing the genetic coding to create Humans with the ability of flight. Blackie Drago who was against this went straight to Noman Osborn to confront him, unfortunately Norman didn't take to kindly to Blackies outburst and knocked him unconscious. Blackie woke up in the OSCORP Lab underground and found himself being the test subject of the V-Serum, when the serum was injected into his blood stream it had a horrendous reaction and turned Blackie into a monstrous hybrid of a Vulture and Human. When the process had ended Blackie was in tremendous amounts of pain and had to be sedated. When awoken Blackie couldn't speak because of his horrible disfigured mouth resembling a beak couldn't function, his mind was also scrambled making him unable to recall any memories. Norman seen him as no threat and for his own amusement unleashed "Vulture" upon the city for Spider-Man to take down, fortunately Spider-Man's kind hearted nature found out Vulture was no ordinary villain he was in pain. The hero took Vulture to S.H.I.E.L.D. where they engineered a mask for the creature that enables him to talk without excruciating pain, he accompanies Spider-Man on missions especially when it's to do with OSCORP.
This picture was taken on a very hot day when my husband and myself where building a screened-in-porch. I moved these plants out of the way and LC decided it was a cool spot to take a nap.

I'm very unfamiliar with this character but after reading up on him using Wiki I changed around his backstory significantly. Rather than him experiment sing with bat DNA and having "Psuedo-Vampirism" and whatnot I've made him more classic "Lab accident victim then crazed lunatic"!
Tell me what y'all think! My version of his backstory is below as well!

Michael Morbius - Morbius
- Michael Morbius was once a respected scientist for OSCORP who suffered from Albinism, however a flesh eating bacteria broke out in the lab and badly disfigured Michael and killing his lab partners. If that's not bad enough he was infected with a rare case called "Pseudo Cravings" by the bacteria which caused a lust for blood. This began to drive Michael to a state of madness, he filed his teeth to resemble that of a vampire and soon began to experiment with DNA of "supers" especially the ones with the ability of flight. After some illegal experiments conducted in that field he soon came up with the chemical formula to allow flight in humans. Injecting himself with the DNA of a super he abducted he had the ability of flight, this only influenced his crazed state even more. He created his alter ego "Morbius" and began to feast on citizens of New York that were unfortunate enough to come near the abandoned chapel where he done his illegal activities using stolen OSCORP facilities. He also attempts to take down super heroes and villains because for some reason their blood gives him supernatural strength and speed.
De eerste landelijke zomerse dag vond dit jaar plaats op woensdag 17 mei. Een mooie reden om na het werk even naar Willemsdorp te rijden. Aldaar passeert de Locon 1796 met keteltrein 44798 onderweg van Köln Eifeltor naar de Maasvlakte. De trein bestaat uit VTG ketelwagens van het type Zacns welke bestemd zijn voor het vervoer van Propeenoxide waarmee de wagens op de Maasvlakte weer zullen worden beladen.
