Always wonderful to see this big bird here! During the Coronavirus pandemic, LATAM Brasil have been flying from São Paulo to Xiamen via Amsterdam, performing cargo missions to pick up medical supplies to our country. Occasionally, these flights are also visiting Recife and Fortaleza, picking up fruits to be delivered in Amsterdam.
B777-300ER PT-MUI is seen here pushing back at dusk, departing for the leg to Amsterdam. My first time picturing the 777 in LATAM colors! Too bad the pushback was delayed, without sunlight...

The largest airline group operating within South America, LATAM Airlines Group has a major presence at Los Angeles providing wide-body aircraft from their Santiago de Chile hub, a major base of operations for pre-merger LAN Airlines.
LATAM Airlines Chile, or pre-merger LAN Airlines was one of the earliest customers for the Boeing 787, becoming the launch customer for the type in South America. The first examples arrived in 2012 and continue to have examples on-order with the Boeing 787-9s forming the back-bone of their long-haul fleet.
The Chilean flag-carrier operates 10-weekly flights between Los Angeles and Santiago; LA534/535 consistently operates daily with Boeing 787-8s, and is a fifth-freedom flight with Santiago acting as a stop-over for further flights continuing onwards to Lima, Perú. LA602/603 provides the thrice-weekly flight utilising Boeing 787-8s (with the occasional Boeing 787-9).
