Went to the Frankston christmas lights thing tonight, wasn't happy with any of my shots I took. But did buy a cool light sword thing for $10. Has a ball on one end with bevelled lenses and a long blade on the other. Here is an example of what can be done with it, so guess the night wasn't a total write off after all.

This twenty-foot-long, private covered bridge resides on a farm in Caemarvon Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The bridge, which was built in 2003, crosses a minor tributary of Conestoga Creek. The cows and horses sometimes use the bridge to cross the creek.

What a night. Not only was I up at 5.30 this morning moving vehicles from flooding roads and putting pots under leaking roofs (sorry babe, I will fix that this year) but last night out on the forest was wooly as anything.
It is rare that I feel inspired to get out in weather that crazy, but boy was it worth it!
I have been struggling a bit with light painting inspiration this year. But my man Tackyshack (www.facebook.com/tackyjackson) inspried me so much with his recent series a bloody hurricane was not going to stop me.
I got so many shots I was happy with last night. Oh and of course a huge thanks again to the winderful Hailey Lane Photography for introducing me to this location, you rock chick!
