It's good fun this lightpainting lark :) This was the first time I've tried a human figure (it sorta shows...), there's something up with the fella's fingers, could be a bad case of photonic jazz hands.

The few nights spent in the forest this year were so much fun. I got the chance to use my incredible set of LED Lenser torches in a more refined and focused (yup) way. The red in the far (although it doesn't look like it here)distance is the P7QC and all of the white light from the right giving the delicate highlights is the X21r.2 about 100 metres away to the right. I love these torches so much, and simply would not go out without them now.

Well the Liquid Light series is coming along. Tonnes of stuff happening over at the FB page (www.facebook.com/DenisSmithPhotography/) but thought I should get my arse over here a bit.
I am having so much fun developing this series. LED Lenser have been amazing! Truly. Their D14.2 is just amazing in the water. I thrash these things and they rock!
The light painting tool here is a Light Flute. My good mate Gavin has designed these and we will be launching soon. They are indestructible and use the Light Painting Brushed Universal Adaptor. Brilliant!

Here is an image from tonight's lot of light faffery at Mersey Bluff in Devonport, Australia. This is a single four minute exposure at f/8, ISO 400 at 9:30pm. I did do a little correction to the exposure and white balance but apart from that, no "photoshop" has taken place.
