Lapis lazuli, or lapis for short, is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized for its intense color. I received this necklace back when I was in college from a dear friend.
NAPOLI
The underground path of the LAPIS MUSEUM leads 40 meters deep and 2000 years back in time. The underground tunnels were dug out of the tuff around the 6th century BC. and used by the ancient Greeks and Romans first as extraction quarries and then as part of the Greek-Roman aqueduct.
About a mile long, this section of the itinerary below the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Pietrasanta retraces part of the underground used as an anti-aircraft shelter during the Second World War. It is thanks to these places, whose entrances and service areas are clearly visible, that thousands of Neapolitans survived the bombings

The Gherkin
30 St Mary Axe (widely known informally as The Gherkin and previously as the Swiss Re Building) is a commercial skyscraper in London's primary financial district, the City of London.
It was designed by Norman Foster and Arup Group, completed in December 2003 and opened in April 2004. With 41 storeys, it is 180 metres (591 ft) tall and stands on the former site of the Baltic Exchange, which was extensively damaged in 1992 by the explosion of a bomb.

I displayed this pendant on a necklace I received for my birthday, because all the color was so fun together. The custom order was only for the pendant.
Bowl made from lapis lazuli with two pieces of pyrite in it. The upper piece is pure pyrite, the lower piece is a perfect pyrite cube crystal embedded in marl, stone in which such perfect crystals can grow. The connection between the blue lazuli stone and pyrite is that lapis lazuli often contains small pyrite inclusions, which you can see shining in the blue. The image is made in such a way that the pyrite seems to float on water in the bowl: this is a pleasant illusion.
