San Francisco’s Seal Rocks rise from the Pacific Ocean surf just off the shore of Lands End as the sun begins to set on the western edge of the city.
Lands End in Cornwall is the most westerly place in mainland England as such its a popular tourist destination . At Lands End there are lots of dubious attractions to entice visitors. However if you walk along the coastal path you soon leave the crowds behind . This was taken somewhere between Lands End and Sennen Cove a spectacular cliff top walk

The lands of Glacier National Park are part of the history and culture of the Blackfeet, Salish, Pend d'Oreille, and Kootenai tribes. Starting with fur trappers, Anglo settlers began populating the Glacier area in the early 1800s. Some homesteaders would later become the park's first rangers.
Like a scene from a Fairytale - wandering waters and forest with deep blue colors! I'm quite sure there are some Gnomes in this area.

Sometimes even though the sky is completely clouded over the world doesn't seem grey and dingy. Things can still seem bright and good. And even though the lands and trees are brown, you know they're not dead but full of life waiting to burst forth.
Námaskarð, noto anche come Hverir, è un'area geotermica situata nella parte nord-orientale dell'Islanda, vicino al lago Myvatn. È caratterizzata da un paesaggio surreale e affascinante, con pozze di fango ribollenti, fumarole fumanti, e vasti campi di solfatare che emettono un forte odore di zolfo. La terra è colorata da sfumature di giallo, rosso e marrone, dovute alla presenza di diversi minerali. Námaskarð, also known as Hverir, is a geothermal area located in northeastern Iceland, near Lake Myvatn. It is characterized by a surreal and fascinating landscape, with bubbling mud pools, steaming fumaroles, and vast solfataric fields emitting a strong smell of sulfur. The ground is colored with shades of yellow, red, and brown, due to the presence of various minerals. Námaskarð offers a unique natural spectacle, where intense geothermal activity creates an almost alien atmosphere.
