They've all pretty much gone from our area and are developing into Fieldfare food for the winter so this is a reminder of their former glory.
Ladies View is a scenic point along the N71 portion of the Ring of Kerry, in Killarney National Park, Ireland. The name apparently stems from the admiration of the view given by Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting during their 1861 visit.

Queen Victorias ladies-in-waiting visited here during the royal visit in 1861. They were so enraptured with the view that it was named after them.
