Featured on a few United Sates dollar coins are Susan B. Anthony, Sacagawea, Lady Liberty and the Statue of Liberty. The largest coin measures 1.5 inches across. HMM, everyone.
Fishing is very important in Elmina, Ghana. Wives and relatives of fishermen gather on the beach awaiting the return of the long boats. Meanwhile they clean some nets or chat. This beach was once a major loading point for the slave trade as it is adjacent to the infamous Elmina Castle.
West Coast Christmas. This display includes white lights, umbrellas and elegant eco-sculpture ladies in the Orientation Plaza and the Orchard.

The colorist movement, which took place in the '60s, are responsible for the bright colors of the Seven Painted Ladies. During the second World War, many homes were painted in cheap gray paint and the city looked drab. So a local artist, Butch Kradum, began painting homes in bright blues and greens and it caught on.
He got a nibble before his woman came, so now he is just standing there
