The Kuwait Towers are three towers of reinforced concrete in Kuwait City. The main tower is 187 metres high and serves as a restaurant and water tower. It also has a Viewing Sphere which rises to 123 meters above sea level and completes a full round turn every 30 minutes.

Kuwait towers lit up in red to mark the Inclusion Day in Kuwait City on July 20, 2018.
Light Up for Inclusion is part of the Special Olympics' 50th anniversary celebrations and represents a global display of unity with over 170 landmarks across the world being lit up in red.

The Kuwait Towers are three towers of reinforced concrete in Kuwait City. The main tower is 187 metres high and serves as a restaurant and water tower. It also has a Viewing Sphere which rises to 123 meters above sea level and completes a full turn every 30 minutes. The second tower is 145.8 metres high and serves as a water tower. The third tower houses equipment to control the flow of electricity and illuminates the two larger towers.

Rodney Atkins, Country music singer - song writer, on tour with the USO in the Middle East, visiting several countries to help entertain the troops serving there. An estimated 1,400 were able to see his first nights performance at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Flight and weather delays failed to detour Rodney's band from meeting their scheduled performance upon arrival in country and plus a long drive to the base. They were able to meet their commitment, even though they had another early morning flight scheduled within hours.

They demanded their right, as Kuwaiti citizens, to “know the truth” about the recent occurrences in the political arena from both the legislative and the executive authorities.The opposition MPs question the Prime Minister, Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah today 28 Dec 2010 , on his government’s absenteeism during sessions assigned for the lifting of MP Faisal Al-Muslim’s immunity. They will also question him on the Special Forces’ actions on Dec 8 at MP Jamaan Al-Harbash’s house, where MPs and citizens were beaten by batons.
Kuwait Navy Base (KNB), Kuwait (June 25, 2006)-- Lieutenant Commander Joseph Ostiguy, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Operational Support Unit TEN (EODOSU 10) deployed to KNB, jumps from an SH-60F Seahawk, attached to the "Dragonslayers" of Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron One One (HS-11), during a cast and recovery training exercise with EODOSU 10, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit SIX (EODMU 6) Detachment 14 deployed with the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group, and the Kuwait Naval Special Unit. The Enterprise Carrier Strike Group is currently deployed as part of a routine rotation of U.S. maritime forces in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, as well as conducting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the region. MSO helps set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counterterrorism and security efforts of regional nations. MSO deny international terrrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons, or other material.
Locust was probably wondering how to camouflage itself on the blue newspaper box. Yes, we do not have rabbits in our back yard, we have locusts!
I don't know if these were the same locusts that were considered delicacies in Kuwait in olden days.
