epa02183841 The 16 Kuwaiti 'Freedom Flotilla' activists arrive home safely on 02 June 2010, aboard an Amiri plane that flew them in from Jordan. MPs and families of the activists were also at the airport. Israel released 449 of the some 600 foreign activists who had been on board the Gaza aid flotilla and were subsequently detained by Israel in a prison in the south of the country, a spokeswoman for Israel Prison Service said. Israel also said it dispatched 10 truckloads of the aid on board the flotilla to the Kerem Shalom crossing point for transportation into Gaza over land, including medical equipment, wheel chairs, and some food. A total of 400,296 Kuwaiti men and women are eligible to vote to choose from among some 285 candidates, including more than 20 women candidates, for a new 50-seat parliament.

The ministry set up the center to facilitate the work of local, regional and international journalists who will be covering the Feb. 2 parliamentary elections. About 285 candidates are running in the polls for a new 50-seat parliament.
The Kuwait Towers are three towers of reinforced concrete in Kuwait City. The main tower is 187 metres high and serves as a restaurant and water tower. It also has a Viewing Sphere which rises to 123 meters above sea level and completes a full round turn every 30 minutes.
Aguadilla, PR- Approximately 40 soldiers from the 266th Ordnance Company, US Army Reserve-Puerto Rico, arrived to the island, Nov. 16, 2013, after accomplishing their mission in Camp Buehring Kuwait.
The troops had the mission of receiving, and distributing ammunitions, as well as disposing of hazardous unexploded conventional ammunitions, across the region.
The troops received an standing ovation at the Luis Muñoz Marin airport and later were received by a group of very happy family members, who gathered at the Ramey Reserve Center.

Rodney Atkins, Country music singer - song writer, on tour with the USO in the Middle East, visiting several countries to help entertain the troops serving there. An estimated 1,400 were able to see his first nights performance at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
Devotes of Country dancing took charge of a small space of the stage floor to two-step and line-dance during Rodney's performance.
