The fire, which was first called in at 7:58 a.m., was updated to a third alarm at 8:10 a.m. Crews shutdown a section of Putney Road as they tap various hydrants to help battle the blaze.

Vermont Bridge Inspectors examine the damage to the I-91 Northbound bridge at the mile 31 marker after two tractor trailer motor vehicle collision on I-91 Northbound in Westminster, Vt., that closed down the highway for an extended period of time on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017. An investigation determined the operator of a FedEx International truck pulling two trailers, Dalmar Aden, 27, of Essex Junction, lost control while traveling north, in part due to road conditions. This caused his truck and one trailer to travel down the bridge embankment onto Vermont Route 121, totaling both units. The second trailer remained on Interstate 91 near mile marker 31, causing major damage to the road surface and guard rails. Minor injuries were reported by both drivers.
