I tried to think of a clever title but basically it is 'a pile a skips'.

First roll out of my new Holga. So far so good ...

The dunes at Whiteford were beautiful. We walked through the Nature Reserve to get there - so lovely big trees in amongst the sands - and then popped out onto a beach to see this. The Whiteford Lighthouse can just be seen in the background. Beautiful, beautiful place - and we had it pretty much to ourselves.

It is obligitary to take a West Pier photo when testing out a camera isn't it?

Quandruple exposure. One exposure of the LED hula hoopers and Poi spinners, then three shots of Mary with three different colors. The Blue Mary got a bit washed out, sadly.

got my first film I shot with the mamiya back, it was a kodak porta 400 vc.

just some quick test shots to see if everything works, and as you can see i doesn't. I seem to have problems with lightleeks. but I have two film cassettes I hope the other one works fine.

since my scanner can't handle 120 negatives I had to scan the prints. and scanning sucks...

does anyone know a good inexpensive scaner, I can use for 120 film?

Another test of the extension tube, another failed attempt. I think I'll stick to Proxars from now on, at least until I find the right extension tube for the job.

BTW, I need a thousand cranes right now. I've been trying since Sunday, to no avail, to find a room in Kyoto for the week we are traveling and it has been impossible so far. If you are thinking of holidays in Japan during cherry blossom season you better get to it and pronto.
