Due to severe overexposure, I converted it to b&w, then had the lab print the color version, since the bright fuschia color of the leaves/flowers, that the Chanel bag was laying in, was what caught my eye in the first place.

My Mamiya 645 needs some adjustment to the focusing screen - it back focuses by about 6 inches.... Argh!!!!

J'ai sorti mon Chinon et mon 28 mm pour faire des photos des Longcchang Apartments (vidéo là et photos là et là). J'ai pris le métro, j'ai changé de ligne de métro, j'ai demandé à cinq personnes la direction de Longchang Lu, j'ai trouvé Longchang Lu. Je l'ai remontée, j'ai cherché le building partout, les gens me regardaient, je suis rentrée dans des ensembles d'habitation, les gens me regardaient vraiment. J'ai bifurqué sur une rue perpendiculaire, j'ai vu une entré de parc, je suis entrée. Il y avait plein de vieux qui faisaient du cerf-volant autour d'un plan d'eau, il y avait des karaokés de plein air, avec tout le matériel audio et vidéo sur la plate-forme d'un chariot. Au troisième karaoké je me suis arrêtée, les gens m'ont fait une place assise, il m'ont demandé d'où j'étais. Quand j'ai répondu 法国 (Fàguó), le type m'a sorti cette chanson (en français, c'est vrai)... J'ai poursuivi mon chemin, j'ai vu des gens danser en couple, des animations de fête foraine, un petit train miteux, je suis ressortie du parc. J'ai repris le métro jusqu'à People's Square, je suis sortie du métro, j'ai marché jusqu'au Bund, j'ai pris des photos des buildings, une fille s'est approchée de moi et m'a tendu son portable, j'ai pris une photo des buildings et de la fille avec le portable, il y avait une statue d'un imposant taureau, j'ai pris une photo des building avec les couilles du taureau en premier plan, la lumière baissait, j'en avais ras-le-bol, je suis rentrée en taxi.
Bref, j'ai pas trouvé mon immeuble.

I'll be going to Frankfurt tomorrow morning and will have some time for shooting in the city at the late afternoon and early evening - this is what's in my camera bag.
Looking forward to have a good Bratwurst after quite some Hotdogs in NYC last week :-)

Bought some new plants for our sunny spot of the house since our old herby ones died in the heat when we weren't home for a few days and forgot to give them water. got basil,lucky bamboo and 2 kinds of mint since i make tea out of it all the time. oh,and that weird looking red flower. he's cool.

Privileged to be able to reviisit my fav. american city after only 3 months since my last visit, I enjoyed shooting analog medium format mostly.
Downtown, near Broadway; I spotted this cute retriever (that was picked up later without problem).

in case you wonder, the idea is to set the frame counter on "16", as if you had the 6x4.5 mask in; that way, the frames overlap naturally, and you don't have to do any stitching. sounds cool, I'll try again :-p
