NYC is such a long city, needed a second shot to get uptown. This is later in the morning obviously, hence the sun higher in the sky, whiter light.

My biggest disappointment at Yosemite was the huge amount of people, cars and tourism that made almost impossible to get a picture of the landscape without having someone in the middle. At least in this case the cars give us a very good perspective of the size of the mountains.
