After getting up at 2:30 in the morning to drive three hours to be at the lake for sunrise, I was hoping for more awesome dawn colors.

The problem with shooting in the winter? It's usually dark and rainy by the time I can get out. So, do what you can - shoot in the dark and the rain!

Every year 30 volunteers at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens pimp out their park with something like 150,000 Christmas lights. I think you'll agree that the end results are pretty much worth it.

...these are the real colors, not sure why I got 3 different purplish shots from this roll of E100VS, its expired for several years but most colors seem true. The sunset was really warm and orange/pink and it's cool to see how it rendered.

In the spooky month of October, you'll get all manner of undead ghouls like this Vampire!

Like a switch being flipped, the heater turned off and it got crazy cold. And here comes the snow!

I really should hold off on the flower pictures, seeing that it's spring and all and I'll probably be shooting 'em all over.
