Common Knowledge collaborated with Bureau Europa. For the edition 9 we have invited Jeroen Laven of Stipo, for a lecture on urban development, social-spatial strategy and how creative are the driving force behind the new economy.
Afterwards a dialogue focused on the City of Maastricht raised interesting topics and needs.
Hundreds enjoyed the ultimate food and wine festival - the largest in Western Canada. Over a dozen executive Chefs, Food Network stars, and 150 premium BC VQA Wines were served.
Consumers fine-tuned their knowledge from experts in wine and food. Chef demonstrations, Sommelier-led tasting seminars, music combined with the stunning See Ya Later Ranch venue, made this day unforgettable. Thank you to our member wineries, Canadian and local Chef talent for participating, and to consumers for supporting the BC wine industry.

We think we know everything. We hold a single grain of sand in our hands and say "We have complete understanding." The truth is there are more grains of sand than we can ever hold on to.
This dilapidated sign sits in the yard of Cardozo Senior High School (at least I think that's the right school). This school has an amazing vantage point, and should rightly be a point of pride for a community, but the forlorn exterior is cause for concern. 13th & Clifton St NW, Washington, DC.

It's actually true what Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once said. Just take a joke and try to translate it into another language.
As a Japanese language major I often encounter various problems translating either German into Japanese or vice versa. Too often, I run into misunderstandings and information gets lost along the process of translating. I wish for my knowledge of languages to be infinite one day. As for now, I hold dear what I have learned up until now.
Thus, my second entry into the weekly assignment is knowledge.
