The Programme brings together international TVET experts and participants in a highly engaging environment, addressing three key dimensions of leadership through nine set modules over the course of two weeks.

The set was shot for week #8 of Thing a Week.

The idea behind it was to do something that would try to illustrate a bigger Imagination compared to the Knowledge. Thought about drawing it and then taking photos of it but that wouldn't really be fair, now would it? So I decided for a more crafty way of doing it and playing with angles.

If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. -John 8:31

In his book on language, British diplomat Lancelot Oliphant (1881–1965) observed that many students give correct answers on tests but fail to put those lessons into practice. “Such undigested knowledge is of little use,” declared Oliphant.

Author Barnabas Piper noticed a parallel in his own life: “I thought I was close to God because I knew all the answers,” he said, “but I had fooled myself into thinking that was the same as relationship with Jesus.”

Faith is not accepting the fact of God but receiving the life of God.

At the temple one day, Jesus encountered people who thought they had all the right answers. They were proudly proclaiming their status as Abraham’s descendants yet refused to believe in God’s Son.

“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did” (John 8:39). And what was that? Abraham “believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness” (Gen. 15:6). Still, Jesus’ hearers refused to believe. “The only Father we have is God himself,” they said (John 8:41). Jesus replied, “Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God” (v. 47).

Piper recalls how things “fell apart” for him before he “encountered God’s grace and the person of Jesus in a profound way.” When we allow God’s truth to transform our lives, we gain much more than the right answer. We introduce the world to Jesus.

Father, thank You that You receive anyone who turns to You in faith.

this was actually shot from below. The staff at the nature museum was very knowledgable and told us a great deal about butterflies which I never knew before. Apparently they cannot handle the gravitional pull of the moon, so all of the non-nocturnal butterflies go to sleep when the sun goes down, and then by morning, there are thousands on the floor that the staff has to go through and "wake up."

Knowledge Synthesis and Best Practices Workshop by PANCAP

Day1

Let's face it. Your heart and my heart are a mystery. Why? Because although priding ourselves on knowing what real pleasure is, full satisfaction of the heart alludes us. No matter how hard we try, that goal - full heart satisfaction - seems always just ahead, but never right here, right now. In rare moments of clarity, this insight may dawn, but the true secrets of the heart are fully known only by those who dedicate substantial portions of their time and energy to inner exploration, to enlightenment. For those who neglect the inner quest, the heart is locked, as they frantically strive and strain for fulfillment through the external body and mind. Exhausted and after many lifetimes of such futile pursuits, however, the guardian angel of humility may begin to peak her head over the horizon of our awareness. Such a rare occurrence marks the beginning of real success; unlocking our heart’s full potential.

The Astralis Academy stood as a beacon of knowledge at the edge of the cosmos, a university unlike any other. Suspended within its shimmering energy dome, the citadel floated above a fractured moon, held aloft by ancient technologies that predated even the most advanced civilizations.

For aspiring scholars, mystics, and scientists, Astralis was more than just a school—it was a sacred pilgrimage. To earn entry, one had to journey across the desolate rock fields, past the remnants of forgotten civilizations, and await the ferry beneath the academy’s shadow.

The Arrival

A small group of travelers—wrapped in long cloaks to shield themselves from the celestial winds—stood at the rocky shore, staring up at the academy in silent awe. Above them, the dome pulsed with golden light, its energy shimmering like a living thing. This was the final step of their journey.

📜 The rules were simple:

🔹 Only those who arrived by foot could enter. No ships, no teleporters. Knowledge had to be earned through the struggle of the journey.

🔹 The ferry came once per cycle, carrying only those deemed worthy.

🔹 No one truly knew who governed the academy. Some believed it was a council of intergalactic scholars. Others whispered that the city itself was alive.

A deep hum echoed through the air. The ferry was coming.

A single massive stone platform, embedded with glowing runes, began to rise from the depths of the black water. The travelers exchanged glances—nervous, excited, uncertain. Once they stepped onto the platform, their lives would be forever changed.

Above, in the floating citadel, those who had made the journey before them watched from golden towers, waiting to welcome the next generation of seekers.

Some would rise to become great scholars, inventors, and visionaries.

Others would uncover mysteries too dangerous to comprehend.

A few… would never return.
