The Department of Occupational Therapy at Colorado State University hosted students, alumni, faculty, and OT practitioners on April 28 for the annual Knowledge Exchange event. The theme for this year’s event was “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Social Justice Impacts on OT Practice, Research, and Education."
Wildland firefighting staff speak to students throughout the week and share their knowledge with the next generation of wildland firefighters.
Every October, women from around the country join us in Vale, Oregon for our Women in Wildland Fire Boot Camp. This is a unique opportunity to develop wildland firefighting skills and can help pave the way for future employment in wildland fire.
The camp is a week long and teaches you basic skills in wildland firefighting and leadership. You also gain an introduction to wildland firefighting culture.
Upon successfully completing this training, each participant will be certified for wildland firefighting.

Shot taken at the comfort of my home and with the help from the good guys at Epson (for the 3d papercraft alphabet).
The set was shot for week #8 of Thing a Week.
The idea behind it was to do something that would try to illustrate a bigger Imagination compared to the Knowledge. Thought about drawing it and then taking photos of it but that wouldn't really be fair, now would it? So I decided for a more crafty way of doing it and playing with angles.
