Çok zor geçen bir süreci geride bırakmış olduklarını ve işlerine tamamen odaklandıklarını açıklayan Funika Yönetim Kurulu’nun Başkan Yardımcısı şu anda Avrupa ile birlikte Ortadoğu’nun en büyüğüyüz ifadelerine yer verdi.
Yeniden Ayağa Kalktı
Bir dönem Türkiye havlu-bornoz sektörüne damga vuran firmalardan olan Funika Holding, içine düştüğü kriz, iflas erteleme kararı ve kurucusunun vefatı gibi olumsuzlukların ardından ailenin diğer üyelerinin çabalarıyla tekrar ayağa kalktı. Diğer konuları bırakıp, havlu-bornoz boyama işine yönelen firma, günlük 50 ton kapasite ile konusunda Avrupa ve Ortadoğu’nun en büyüğü haline geldi. Funika, önümüzdeki dönem boyama yanında teknik tekstil ürünleri ile büyümesini sürdürecek.
Funika’nın, babası Nuri Sözkesen tarafından kurulduğunu belirten Funika Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Yardımcısı Kemal Sözkesen, “Babam, üniversiteden sonra eğitim ve staj gördüğü İsviçre, Havai ve Japonya’nın ardından Denizli’ye gelip Japon, Amerikan ve Türk iş sistemini harmanlayıp Funika’yı kurmuş. Tekstil sektörüne girmiş ve inanılmaz hızlı bir büyüme yaşamış. Konfeksiyonun ardından, dokuma tezgahları, boyahane gelmiş ve Gümüşler’deki tesisimiz entegre bir üretim üssü olmuş. Otomobil bayiliği ve yerel medya grubu işine girince bunları Funika Holding çatısı altında birleştirmiş. Holding, 2003’te 30 milyon doları ihracat olmak üzere 50 milyon dolar ciro yapan, bin 500 kişiye istihdam sağlayan Denizli’nin en büyük işletmesi haline gelmiş” diye konuştu.
Beş Yıl Sonra Endüstri 4.0’da
2003’ten sonra ABD’den siparişlerin azaldığı, yerel rakiplerin arttığı bir sürece girildiğini anlatan Sözkesen, “2008’deki global kriz de bunların üstüne gelince Funika daha da küçüldü ve iflas erteleme kararı aldırdı. Hemen ardından babamı kaybettik. O dönemde ben ve eşim Londra’da eğitim ve işi beraber yürütüyorduk. Hemen Denizli’ye geldik. 24 yaşındaydım. Sayıları 130’a kadar düşen çalışanlarımızla güzel bir diyalog oluşturduk, vergi ve borçlarımızı yapılandırdık, stokları, kullanılmayan makine, bina ve arsaları sattık. Ama kar etmeden borçları kapatamazdık. Sadece boyama şirketimiz kar ediyordu, diğerlerinin hepsini kapattık. Yeni yatırımlarla ciro ve karlılığımız arttı. 3-4 senede çalışan sayımızı, ciromuzu ikiye katladık. 2014’te Denizli’de iflas ertelemeden çıkan ilk firma olduk” dedi.
Beş yıl önce günlük 25 ton olan kapasitelerini bugün 50 tona çıkardıklarını sözlerine ekleyen Sözkesen, “Şu an Avrupa ve Ortadoğu’nun en büyüğüyüz. Beş yıl sonra bunu da ikiye katlayacağız. 2018 hedefimiz yüzde 20 büyümek. Bu yıl başında yeni bir makine aldık. Beş yıl içinde sanayi 4.0’a ulaşma hedefimiz doğrultusunda, otomasyona yönelik, akıllı makinelerin olduğu bir boyahane haline geliyoruz” dedi.
‘Teknik Tekstille Sıçrayacağız’
Funika’nın geçmişten beri Ar- Ge’ye büyük önem verdiğine dikkat çeken Sözkesen, “Teknik tekstil üzerine çizdiğimiz bir vizyonumuz var. Geçmişten gelen Ar-Ge ürünlerimiz bulunuyor. Kemoterapi gören hastaların, menopoz dönemindeki kadınların, terleme problemleri olanların kullandığı çok özel bir kumaşımız ABD pazarında halen yoğun ilgi görüyor. 2013’te yılın ürünü seçilmişti. Keza cep telefonunun yaydığı elektromanyetik dalgaları bir Faraday kafesi içine alıp, hem vücuda verdiği zararları kalkanlayan, hem de istenirse kafesi tamamen kapatıp telefon üzerinden dinlenme ve takip yapılmasını engelleyen bir teknolojinin patentine sahibiz. Teknolojimizi farklı alanlara yayacağız. İstenen kokuda kumaş, yanmayan kumaş, bakteri oluşturmayan kumaş gibi knowhow’lara sahibiz. Talep geldiğinde üretim yapıyoruz” dedi.
Ciroları 15 Milyon Dolar
Şu an cirolarının 15 milyon dolar civarında olduğunu ve bunun ancak yüzde 10-15’lik kısmının teknik tekstilden geldiğini söyleyen Sözkesen, “Boyama konusunda kapasite ve pazar belli. Sıçrayış yapacağımız gelişme teknik tekstil tarafından olacak. Bunlar fiyatı, katma değeri, karı yüksek ürünler. Oradaki hedefimiz özellikle ABD’de büyümek” diye konuştu.

Working digitally has always been one of my favorite mediums. The one thing many people do not realize is this is a not a "push a button ...it's done" medium.
A painting such as this takes hours in front of the computer layering color over sketch , sometimes using an actual photograph as the basis for the design concept. Unnecessary details need to be hand removed with a "paintbrush or eraser" and new elements in all cases need to be added with good old fashioned artistic knowhow ....one brush stroke at a time
Once the basic painting is near completion then the details need to be worked in such as bringing forward the main subject and pushing back the backgrounds. It's is a time consuming and eye crossing medium that rivals my traditional "brush on paper" watercolors in complexity and allows more freedom to create on my 27" monitor...especially with my visual impairement
After 2003, Iran continued the weaponization work of Project Amad under the rubric of "scientific knowhow development." This work continues to be led by Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and is hosted at an organization called SPND.

Bilder halten Augenblicke für die Ewigkeit fest. Die Schönheit des Moments und die packende Perspektive auf einen unvergesslichen Situationsausschnitt. On June 12th, D’light Talk, a seminar called “ Click The World : Draw The World With Light” was held at D’light, which is located in Samsung Electronics Building. The seminar featured two photography classes by Jong Hoon Kim, and Youn Hee Jung, who are currently active as professional photographers in Korea. WB1000 was introduced in the seminar. A great deal of people from high school students to elders in their 50’s participated in the D’light Talk.
