In the heat of summer, my husband finally received his chunky cardigan.
The yarn is a tweedy cashmere blend from China. The pattern is Morris from Rowan 34 and also available free on the Rowan website.
I just finished knitting my first sock ever (started last night)! I've had the yarn and pattern sitting around for probably 2.5-3 years but hadn't made them yet. I made a sock knitting bag the other day just because I thought the pattern was pretty and figured I should probably start some socks to go in it!
This sock is super wooly and warm and I love it!
This is a big sister to my red top. Red is knitted more than a year ago, this blue is fresh and brand new.
have finished the mittens from a lovely pattern, details on ravelry www.ravelry.com/projects/bunnyknitter/alfredo-gloves
I've been away from flickr for too long and thought I had better catch up. These are pictures of a shawl made last autumn from a pattern called Crescendo by Janina Kallio
I made a few mistakes on this, but I don't think they'll be glaring when the sweater is being worn....mostly, I just love this thing anyway! The cables! They are awesome, and totally worth the time they take me.
I can't wait to finish this, but if I continue as per pattern, it may be another couple months! LOL
I had so much fun knitting these socks I decided to write it up and share as a free pattern! I hope you will enjoy making my Colorblock Socks and the technique I share to join new yarns without pesky ends to weave in. Pattern download link is in the blog post: theknittingblogbymrpuffythedog.blogspot.com/2017/03/crazy...
Finished up another shawl. The pattern is Lala's simple shawl (a free pattern on Ravelry and the Yarn is Phydeaux Designs.

I'd seen so many pretty fingerless gloves on Flikcr, that I thought I'd try my hand at knitting a pair. It was actually rewarding to complete a project.
