Am Samstag ist die lange Wartezeit vorbei.Die Klosterbrauerei öffnet ihre Pforten wieder. Ich bin heute schon Mal hin um nochmal das Kloster vor den schneebedeckten Alpen aufzunehmen. Ich habe ziemlich gesucht um diesen Standpunkt zu finden, mein Hund Gaia fands toll sie hatte dadurch ein langes Gassi....

Das Kloster Knechtsteden ist eine ehemalige Prämonstratenserabtei aus dem frühen 12. Jahrhundert, die sich seit 1896 im Besitz des Spiritanerordens befindet. Sie liegt westlich von Dormagen unweit der Ortschaft Delhoven.
Die Klosteranlage liegt auf einer sanften Anhöhe neben der Senke eines ehemaligen Rheinarmes. Sie besteht aus einem Gelände, aus dem das Torhaus und die Klosterbasilika St. Andreas herausragen. Auf dem Klostergelände befinden sich auch das katholische Norbert-Gymnasium und eine Gaststätte. Das Kloster liegt in einem Naherholungs- und Naturschutzgebiet.
Knechtsteden Monastery is a former Premonstratensian abbey from the early 12th century, which has been in the possession of the Spiritan Order since 1896. It is located west of Dormagen not far from the town of Delhoven.
The monastery complex is located on a gentle hill next to the depression of a former arm of the Rhine. It consists of an area from which the gatehouse and the St. Andreas monastery basilica protrude. The Catholic Norbert grammar school and a restaurant are also located on the monastery grounds. The monastery is located in a local recreation and nature reserve.
Maulbronn Monastery (German: Kloster Maulbronn) is the best-preserved medieval Cistercian monastery complex in Europe. It is situated on the outskirts of Maulbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany and is separated from the town by fortifications. In 1993 the monastery was made a UNESCO World Heritage site. (Wikipedia)
Das in der Nähe von Karlsruhe gelegene Kloster Maulbronn ist die am vollständigsten erhaltene Klosteranlage des Mittelalters nördlich der Alpen.
Im kleinen Hofgarten des Kloster Kamp, Niederrhein (Kamp-Lintfort). Die Klostergärten sind Teil der Landesgartenschau 2020.
