5572. Photo: Old Kitchenware at theTillamook Pioneer Museum. An End-of-year weekend trip to Tillamook. We hopped the $15 round-trip bus from Portland to Tillamook with our bikes. In town we biked to Brian Cameron's house, took a 5 mile hike on Cape Lookout to see whales (none seen, but sealions spoted), a nice dinner out and a conversation by the fire. The next day, the last day of 2006, we biked back to town along still rivers with birds, and sleepy farmsteads with an amazing sky. Then a visit to the Blue Heron for wine tasting, and the Tillamook Cheese factory for cheese & icecream. And after that a short visit to the Pioneer Museum to visit the talking Smokey the Bear.

I "wood" like a spoon soon.

.

There is something about using wooden spoons in your kitchen. And they don't leave any scratches...
