When building a new home in SecondLife finding the right items to fill it is challenging. I am always looking for furniture that is well made and has great animations is even harder. Unless you know where to look. BackBone has a great verity of things to make your house feel like a home. Luckily BackBone has decided to come out with an amazing Kitchen set. The BackBone Kitchen Island is a built in nook and counter space with a bar, stove, and sink. The nest part is the animations that come with it. With all the adult and cuddle animations you could want BackBone has knocked it out of the park. So if you are in need of a new kitchen check out BackBone at Cosmopolitan today!

Another shot from the East Coulee School Museum. I had a lot of fun taking pictures here. I think my new flash made all the difference. This room was quite dark and gloomy.
I love the way things were displayed here too. I think that makes it more interesting.
I hope everyone likes it!
Have a super day!
Our kitchen remains small but much more functional...now onto the new back porch, front vestibule, and bathroom reno :-)
This was the kitchen at the apartment we rented in Pacific Heights. It was small and narrow but very modern and cozy. I especially liked the frosted glass cupboards and the fridge built into the wall was really neat....
Fireplace Kitchen Tools you think it is hard to cook nowadays, hard to imagine cooking over a hot fireplace with some very basic items, shot in North Carolina.
This is the kitchen area of a very quaint little diner in Wichita, Kansas called the Old Mill Tasty Shop.
Fifty years ago, I spent slightly less than a year selling cameras in Kitchener (not far from Toronto). It's Mennonite country. I would buy their produce in the summer, and watch their horses-and-buggies on the country roads and think it all so antiquated... and now, these city cars and buses look ancient to me!
It must have been one of my days off. I remember trudging through the slush and snow, snapping away at anything that caught my eye. This downtown street corner scene captures the feel of it, I think, looking at the faces.
At the time I was still finding my way in photography; still am, but at least my direction has been clear for a long time. In the 1970s I did a lot of street photography, slices of urban life. I made it out to Vancouver full time before the next winter. I was still two years away from "discovering" that there were trails in the mountains and that I loved backpacking into wilderness. I think and hope that I still carry the lessons of my pre-nature photography days. At the very least, I was discovering how I didn't want to live. Fortunately, the compulsion to record everything has remained a constant.

In this kitchen we have a bar table and two seats, an induction stove and upper cabinets with no handles. A black fridgerator gives a nice counterbalance for the white surfaces.
