Nestle Peach Flavoured KitKats

Ahí estoy. A ver si me saco un buen ex libris.

Chestnut flavored KitKat from Japan. Purchased from Jappy11 on eBay.

Tasted a bit more like coconut than chestnut. This one differs from the other Japanese KitKat flavors I've tried by using milk chocolate as a coating instead of white chocolate.

Is this the same as a KitKat Chunky? Don't know.

OK kids, get your thinking gear round this. KitKat Salt.

And not just common-or-garden salt, but specially imported salt from Lorraine, France.

Which raises the questions, why would you make chocolate with salt, and why go to all that effort?

I was genuinely wary of this one. Had to take a deep breath too. Put it off for ages. It's not bad, for white chocolate, and yes, you can taste the salt. It's indescribably odd. But I'd recommend you try it. Once.

It took several shots before KitKat (real name)>Mr. Fluffy Pants would stay still enough for a decent shot. Shot in ambient lighting with a HD large screen TV to the right of the picture and incandescent light to the left and overhead. KitKat was laying on cocktail table and I was sitting in a sofa right next to her. Lens was about 2 feet from her nose.

Quieres un mini KitKat?

Mellow taste. The difference in grade of chocolate is noticeable, but it's not outstanding. A bar of 4 sticks has been divided into 2 separate packs for the times when you just don't want the whole thing, but it does equate to additional packaging and waste. Boo.

maybe aimed at kids, it is only available in bags, rather than the usual single box for one person

I think these are Canadian KitKats but I'll admit I didn't check before I ate them! They were tasty. :)

This is an experiment. Falsifying a product is illegal. Children, please do not try this. It is a health risk too

I started with the pink one. White chocolate, but never mind. Delicate peach fragrance, and gentle flavour, but too sweet on the end.

And then on to the other... which was bright orange, and correspondingly sweet, like drinking undiluted nectarine cordial. So if you like that sort of thing, you'll be happy.

They safely arrived yesterday! Thank you so much Natsuko! and thank you for the Kit Kats! I've never tried the other flavors before!

Will blog more about this later ;)

It's fun seeing American products in Japanese packaging.

A break for tea at the Crawley u3a Wednesday quiz group.
