Over 100 flags of England in support of the England football team during the UEFA Euro 2024 football tournament on display at a house on Kings Road in the City of Chelmsford in the County of Essex (UK).

The gentleman owner of this house does this at every major football tournament and also makes a huge effort with his Christmas lights display every December.

This striking avenue of beech trees was planted in the 18th century, intended to impress visitors as they approached the Georgian mansion, Gracehill House. One of the most photographed natural features in Northern Ireland, the avenue also featured as The Kingsroad in TV series Game of Thrones.

Yes you're glowing in the dark... (to be continued)

"The State Theatre (皇都戲院) is a former cinema in Hong Kong. Located in the North Point area along King's Road, the building is still extant, but may be demolished in the near future... The cinema opened in December 1952 as the Empire Theatre (璇宮戲院), closed in 1957 and reopened in 1959 as the State Theatre, (but eventually) closed in 1997. Since July 2015 New World Development has been progressively buying out the numerous shops on the ground floor of the former theatre, with a view of demolishing the building for redevelopment..." Exploring the State Theatre Mall (ii)

So summoning an unexpected courage, I set out to explore this dark, aged, dilapidated and almost vacant 'shopping mall', without any idea what I would encounter...
