the window light was gorgeous this morning and she was still. I tried to capture photos of her with my Fujifilm X-E3 and they were total crap. I don't think I know how to use that camera right, or it's not the right camera for me. So I picked up my Canon 5D and my 100mm macro lens and got what I wanted and saw. I'm never giving up this camera...
Kiki loves to play with this scratching toy. She will lie beside it waiting for me to come play with her; sometimes at 2:00 a.m.
I frequently take photos of Kiki with my cellphone, but its camera does not compare to my DSLR. With the heat and the smoke the last few days I have kept Kiki inside, this evening she got to spend some time on the deck; quite contentedly.

She was created last year for a Miyazaki tribute Art show. I've kept her packed away because unfortunately during the show, the Jiji I had sculpted for her broke. But I've decided to let her out of her box, she needed to be photographed as I realized that I didn't get really good photos of her last year. She will hopefully fly away to her new home soon.
用了這張照片作為一個愜意與忙碌生活的分水嶺,
今天是新工作第一天上工,
希望在不同地方各自努力的我們都能一起順利加油~

Little Kiki was SO excited to meet Christy's Maisy at the Utah Blythistas meet this afternoon -- and of course they had to have a photo taken together!
(Maisy's fabulous headband is from Chantelle --> thanks so much for joining in our swap!!)
The last 3 weeks or so we have seen a lot of rain, flooding and snow. I was not able to get out much to do any shooting but here is a sample from past Kiki shoots.

Had an awesome time working with, Kiki. It was her first time in front of the camera, and she did a bang up job.
I've worked with her sister Tricianne before, and I was completely honored when she contacted me to work with her baby sis... as you can see, the great looks definitely run in the family.
Side note : Tricianne made this gown the night before from a huge roll of fabric. The girls got skills.
