Our new family member, these were actually shot with her lounging on our dashboard like the new queen on the way home. Course then she arrived and actually met the true Queen :P

Kiki decided to come out with me to check the mail. She was waiting at the mail box for a bit while I checked the box. Quick snap, because gardeners were all over the park across my condo today and I got nervous. ^^;
When I am trying something different with my camera gear I like to try it out on my cat Kiki. Not a willing model but a pretty one.
I frequently take photos of Kiki with my cellphone, but its camera does not compare to my DSLR. With the heat and the smoke the last few days I have kept Kiki inside, this evening she got to spend some time on the deck; quite contentedly.
