Sloppy Joes again. We watched a pretty funny guitar playing duo here. There is a picture of them from another night later in the set. Aside from the sloppy joes, another notable fact was that this was Ernest Hemmingway's favorite bar on the island, and he spent many years here.

(Sept. 14, 2012) The Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate USS Underwood (FFG 36), from Mayport, Fla., is the first ship to berth at Naval Air Station Key West's Mole Pier for UNITAS 2012. Nine more ships from the U.S., Central America and South America will berth at the Truman Waterfront for the UNITAS opening ceremonies Sept. 17-19.
