The second I got on the bike it began to pour - the rain held up most of the ride which made the roads very tricky.

The ruins at Devil's Hole, located in PA State Gamelands 221, is believed to have been a ski area at one time, This building probably was the ski lodge with its two, 2-level fireplace/chimneys still standing. Prior to that, this place is thought to have originated as a speakeasy during the prohibition era.

So I sought out breakfast and found Herring's Restaurant. Doesn't look like much, but it was a delicious discovery! Everything on their menu is homemade.

This little strip of land, which is actually a peninsula, is bordered by the Delaware River (on the left in the picture) and the Neversink River to the right (out of picture). I-84 passes overhead. The whole strip of land belongs to Laurel Grove Cemetery. The Tri-States Monument is that little stone block with the smiley face on it.
