A massive cruise ship that brought in hundreds of tourists!

The inlaid red granite keys are a much harder rock than the surrounding green marble. As a result of years of continuous foot traffic across them, the keys have worn much less than the marble and now stand almost a quarter inch higher than the softer rock around them.

Skydiving over the Florida Keys

Key West, Florida - Rhapsody of the Seas

Am going to re-shoot this using a wider depth of field. The 2.8 worked well, focusing on one key... until I swirled it!

I'm staying at the Riviera. You know, the last casino in Las Vegas that was cleansed of Mob influence? I'm not sure how successful they were. Some of the employees here talk with a suspiciously New York- or Jersey-ish accent. In fact I think my waiter at the steak house was Spyder from Good Fellas. Fuggetaboutit.

This is the key-card to my room. Custom made for Defcon. Pretty damn cool. Notice the Ninja thingee on there. There seems to be an almost adolescent fascination with anime and kung-fu.

This is a terrible picture of me, but at least I was happy!

At 19 feet above sea level Lignumvitae Key is the HIGHEST point above sea level in the Keys which beats the island of Key West's Solares Hill by 1 foot. This dark green island is covered in rare tropical hardwoods such as the island's namesake, Holywood Lignumvitae. It is a great spot to kayak to if you can find a launch point. I think I have found that spot and will explore the island in the future. It is uninhabited and has been turned into a botanical park only accessible by boat.

The way to a pirate's heart is not his stomach, but finding the lost key to the coveted Treasure Chest that he is unable to open without it!

I think he has a lot of keys which open any doors in Bangkok.
