Since 1999, Keolis has been active in Germany and has operated under the brand name ‘Eurobahn’ modern public rail transportation (SPNV). Initially, the transportation services were rendered in the framework of a joint venture with the company ‘Rhenus’. Since the splitting of ‘Rhenus Keolis’ in 2007, the business has been undertaken and successfully carried out under the trusted brand ‘Eurobahn’ as a separate transportation company.
Today Keolis Germany is the largest private provider of public rail transportation in North Rhine-Westphalia and operates three networks in North Rhine-Westphalia and North Hessen.
With over 350 employees, including more than 200 train drivers and train crew, the company carries more than 70,000 travellers everyday.
In December 2009, the start of operations of the Meuse-Rhine-Lippe network followed. Here too the Eurobahn is on the road with the FLIRT EMUs (Stadler) and provides, in the meantime, with 3.3 million train kilometres per year more than 10% of total rail passenger transportation services in the most populous state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The two routes of the Meuse-Rhine-Lippe-network lead from Hamm through the northern Ruhr area to Dusseldorf (RE 3) and through the Bergisches Land and the Lower Rhine to Venlo in the Netherlands (RE 13). The units only penetrate as far as Venlo in the Netherlands as it is wired at the German voltage as far as the city, then dual voltage in the station but no further. As the Netherlands operates at 3,000v the FLIRTs cannot go any further. Dual voltage FLIRTS would make for some interesting services though.

Via the Nobellaan route 525 approaches its terminus in Nobelhorst.
Enkele minuten later komt alweer de 7307 langs in Lierderholthuis, op weg als trei 7926 naar Zwolle. Op de achtergrond nog wat ochtendnevel, verder landelijkheid troef.

Door technische problemen hebben de gelede MAN's die van Keolis Sverige overkwamen naar Keolis Nederland nog niet veel gereden. De inzet op de pendelbus naar festival Into The Woods was de eerste grootschalige inzet.

Due to technical issues the articulated MAN buses which transferred from Keolis Sverige to Keolis Nederland haven't been used a lot yet.
The shuttle service to Into The Woods festival was their first larger deployment.

Het hing al even in de lucht, maar op 3 mei 2025 werd het een feit: de terugkeer van mat'64 in de reguliere reizigersdienst. Keolis doet de komende tijd een beroep op treinstel 904 van de Stichting 2454 Crew om materieel vrij te spelen om te kunnen ver-RRReis'en. De rol van de 904 blijft beperkt tot twee slagen Amersfoort - Barneveld Zuid op werkdagen in de ochtendspits. Op 3 mei 2025 reed de 904 vier keer zijn nieuwe stamtraject op en neer bij wijze van presentatie en zo kwam het treinstel als 31438 naar Amersfoort langs de Van Heuvenlaan in Barneveld.
