Today is Dave’s fathers 100th Birthday. We went down yesterday and set up the table etc. for a party today.
I always love a trip to the old Gun powder works at Kenal Vale at this time of the year, the Autumn colours were amazing and the river was in full flood after all the rains in Cornwall.The light was good and not too contrasty which was a bonus, I used my Lee polariser to reduce the glare and cut through any reflections and make the colours pop a little.
One of my fave places in Cornwall particularly in Autumn, Kennal vale the old gun powder works The Kenal river runs down through a tangle of rocks and old Leets here.

This gorgeous girl will only be with me for a short time. She came to me recently, and has been given a lot of care while she's been here, but she's going to a new home soon. Just after winning this girl (spur of the moment decision) I got the opportunity to buy a chunky banged redhead, a girl I was really wanting. So this little beauty gets to travel a bit more.... would her new mum like to own up? ;)
I was lucky enough to adopt this lovely lady. My first KB and I couldn't be happier!
Last night I tested out a (much needed) de-frizzing method which worked like a charm! Less crusty, more silky :p
Will post the results later on today!

Kenners may be old but they're tough. These babies have survived tomato patches, extended periods of time in cedar closets (whatever that means) and various restorations.
That said they are quite fragile. Robin's legs are held on using knickers and tights as they fly off at inopportune moments. She also can't stand up without help (note my sneaky fingers)
Liza was an impulsive adoption.When we thought our Kenner family was just right.. she steals our hearts.
Once she lived far far away in America and after a while she flew to England..Liza has the coolest haircut! it's because she's into music and hopes to be in a band someday.
Liza is a bit forgetful..being the newest gerl in the house she feels rather awkward..
She has a slight OCD when it comes to house cleaning..she wakes up the earliest and does the groceries.She looves Mexican food!
Liza is a kind soul.She is making plans for future charity events.She is a bit of a wallpaper but doesnt really mind that.She is a pleaser and loves to please her sisters.
She dreads everytime she bumps into Caramba and the her sidekicks.
