I love these branches in winters, you will be seeing much more of them till winter ends ;)
I have realised that posting my shots daily is going to be a challenge...but I am going to try and upload everyday :)
Hope your saturday is fantastic my friends!

Some sunshine...warm and bright...
Some thoughts...loving and sweet...
Some moments...alive and vibrant.'

I wanted to be your all
But I dont even feel human
Am surely not a supergirl
Just powerless
Respect your body, take care of your health, dont take yourself for granted...there is no life without health...so dont be powerless, treat yourself well!
Wishing you all great health and peace of mind always.
Yes, I can help you with Red Doodling Cups or with Ballet Buns. And I really want to! It beats reading news online...
I really need to take my mind off the terrorism in the last few days in France, and in a number of cities and towns in Israel. Didn't hear about them? That's because the victims are Jewish. The main stream media TV networks and newspapers, to paraphrase the words of Rhett Butler in Gone with The Wind, frankly, do not give a damn! Oh well...
It must feel like being black in the USA.

The London Eye (also known as the Millennium Wheel), at a height of 135 metres (443 ft), is the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over three million people in one year. At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160 m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165 m) on 11 February 2008. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel" (because the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only).
The London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge. The site is adjacent to that of the former Dome of Discovery, which was built for the Festival of Britain in 1951.

London Eye in Black and White
As I walked down the sunlit path, the look-out birds chirped to me...They said in unison, your time has come, what you desire, yours shall be...but look out, they said, the magic is yet to begin...I know not what they meant, do I trust these birds alight a piece of tin? I do feel they are wise, so I share this snapshot with you and wonder what meaning in it lies.
"Keep Smiling."
This is an unused, divided-back postcard that dates to the early twentieth century.
Printed on the other side: "National Series. Made in Gt. Britain. No. 2289."

We move in numbers
like shifting sand
but we're too eager
to understand
'cause we're not ready
we're too proud
now we're finding a different way
we've been chasin' each others tails
now we're ridin' a new wave
all on our own way
more than a face in the crowd (a face in a crowd)
hundreds of people
all runnin' 'round
but there's no color
and there's no sound
we move in silence
looking down
a face in a crowd

to my dear friends...
as i'm sitting here trying to find the right words, tears are welling up and i don't know where to begin...
it's been a great journey knowing all of you here on flickr... i'm grateful to meet alot of wonderful and extremely talented friends... and i appreciate all your friendship, love, support and all the huggies you've often showered me with...
i joined flickr in oct 2005, not knowing what it was really about... i was merely using it to host my pics for other groups i was in... soon things happened and friendships formed... throughout this year, i've had tears and laughter, had loved and lost loved ones... had joy in my heart as well as sadness... i've learnt alot as well as inspired by many of you... thank you for letting me into your lives...and sharing a part of mine...
my dear dear friends, it is now time for me to say goodbye... to sail away for awhile... i'm sorry that i'm not able to explain my reason for this sudden departure... please know that you are all very dear to me, and i wish each and every one of you all the best, and always love in your heart...that you would go to sleep every night feeling the joy and peace in your heart and wake up every day with a smile... life is not always a rainbow, but please try to stay positive and make it work... always find the simple little joy in life to bring you smile and keep you going... thank you so much for bearing with all my silliness all this time... i hope i've made your day a little brighter whenever you dropped by my stream... i'm already missing you all dearly... until we do crosspath again, please take good care... love you all... and all the best wishes for 2007!!
before i go, please allow me to do a personal tribute and here's leaving you with one of my favorite songs, and a happy holiday to you dear!! ^-^
tons of *huggies & kisses* from me and pompom...

"That will be like comparing apples to oranges!" Havent we all heard this phrase innumerable times? Oh well, why can't we? Both are fruits, to start with; healthy, nutritious, right? Well, we can think of so many similarities!
At least that's what I was thinking, until one fine day..
I heard a conversation..
Apple: Hey Orange! Wassup?
Orange (gives a disapproving look): Hey... Red!
Apple: Err.. you meant to say Apple, right? Cuz thats my name!
Orange: Ohhhh! You called me by color and I thought I also should do that!
Apple: What are you talking? You are ORANGE!
Orange: Yeah, I am. But thats just my color! My name is sinensis, Citrus sinensis, and you can call me Mr.sinensis! And I shall call you Mr.domestica.. wait. Thats too common a last name. How about M. domestica.. Nah, sounds like House fly. Argh! Mr.Malus domestica! Thats too long! Longer than Mr.Sinensis! Don't you have a shorter name?
Apple: In fact, I believe I do. How does 'Apple' sound?
Orange: That's your 'buddy' name, huh?
Apple: Oh come on! You know that your name is Orange and you should be glad that they named a color after you. Wish I was that lucky! Have you heard of a color "apple"? (sighs)
Orange: Hehe... true. But then you are so many.. If they started naming colors after you, it would be hilarious!
The leaves are Granny Smith in spring! Hahahahahahaha....!!
Apple: OK thats enough.. Now dont you talk about my grandma mister sissyness!
Orange: Thats SINENSIS! And why shouldnt I tell that.. Yo granma so green that...
[At this point I had to interrupt and lure them into posing for a photo, they were reluctant to pose first and then agreed and asked me to make it fast. I was not getting the light right as Apple was shiny and Orange's texture kept off reflecting the daylight :( And the duo were getting restless and I hastily clicked this shot. Looks like a hi-key, but I am not risking bringing the duo together. Maybe everyone was right. They are probably incomparable!]
Oh, they were in fact agreeing on one thing: They wanted you to take a look at them LARGE ON WHITE
Have a great Weekend!
