I love this quote; it is so relatable. The hardest thing I have had to do is fight to regain a healthy mental mind. I am not perfect and it has not been a linear recovery. Some days I feel as though I am going backwards. I know when I look at the bigger picture I am moving forward. There is no blueprint for recovery because everyone is different. We could all have the same diagnosis but the impact on us and the people around us will be unique as no two people are the same. On bad days, concentrate on being grateful for what you have. There is always something to be grateful for even if it is a comfy bed or sofa for you to lay on. Keep safe, don't succumb to any negative thoughts you might have. Meet Henrietta! She was a gift from one of my mom's home care nurses. Henrietta is perfect: She is cute, soft, and cuddly, and my mom found her absolutely hilarious.
Tablet/Mobile phone trick. This needs a phone/tablet for the effect – and a camera or another device to take the photo.
Put a nice picture on the floor. You take a photo of the picture using your phone/tablet – you need to make sure that you take the photo parallel to the picture and you can take a close-up photo of part of the picture. You can tilt it. You can then zoom in on the first photo until the image you see is the same size as the picture when placed on it.
