Actor and activist James Cromwell was also among the 55 people arrested at the Hall of Governors in a non-violent act of civil disobedience, demanding Cuomo to stop all fracking infrastructure, move to 100% renewable energy, and make polluters pay. PARIS, FRANCE-- On December 2, 2015, activists from 350.org chanted "keep it in the ground" while bouncing a symbolic 'carbon bubble' in the air at COP21. The action today took place just before an announcement by 350.org on the divestment campaign, which stated that "more than 500 institutions representing over $3.4 trillion in assets have made some form of divestment commitment."
Today is the third day of COP21 which is being held in Paris, France, at the Le Bourget conference center.
