On July 1, 2022 activists with the Insure Our Future Coalition rallied outside the headquarters of Marsh McLennan in New York, urging CEO Dan Glaser and other top executives to cut ties with the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP). JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA -- Saturday, May 14th, 2016. Activists from 350.org converged at the Zoo Lake this morning and walked to the Gupta's residence where they demand a just response to climate change and deliver a coffin full of coal symbolizing the end of coal during a Break Free action.
Break Free 2016 is a week of coordinated direct actions that target the most dangerous fossil fuel projects, in an effort to keep coal, oil and gas in the ground and accelerate a just transition to 100% renewable energy. Thousands of people all over the planet are putting their bodies on the line to send a message to polluters and politicians that we need to break free from fossil fuels now.

A total of 27 multi-faith assembly of religious leaders and lay people were arrested on October 19, 2022 at BlackRock’s headquarters in Manhattan while peacefully and prayerfully protesting the financial giant’s ongoing investment in fossil fuel corporations that are actively destroying the earth. On Saturday, August 6, hundreds of Richmond residents and people from all over the Bay Area came together to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the 2012 Chevron Refinery explosion and fire that sent over 15,000 people to the hospital.
Community members marching from Richmond Bart, Kayak-tivists landing at Keller Beach, Street Murals and a public art installation (The Fenceline Project) all converged at the gates of Chevrons' Refinery in Richmond, CA.
The message to Chevron - "we REFUSE another 120 years of violence on our bodies, our communities, our air."
“120 years of broken promises, no accountability, profit at the expense of our health and climate. Our health is not for sale!”
