Prague was home to Franz Kafka, writer of The Trial.
Inside the very dark Kafka Museum. I remember a large letter "K" out front, but can't find any photos of it... We went to a lot of museums in Prague, including:
- Museum of Communism
- Franz Kafka Museum
Though I haven't always been a big fan of Kafka, this museum made me into a believer.

The statue of Kafka, by Jaroslav Rona, stands next to the Spanish Synagogue. Kafka in many ways was defined by the condition of Jewishness. Looking up, this great tree spreads its branches above the synagogue, but also above Kafka's secular world.
A few months ago, my friends The Kafkas scared the hell out of me by asking me to do some promotional shots. Now, after a few months, with “Xanadu” – their debut – almost out and “Shere Khan” – the single – pumping on your stereos (if it isn’t, then it should), I’m happy to show the results of this adventure.
