Kabuki-za (歌舞伎座) in Ginza is the principal theater in Tokyo for the traditional kabuki drama form.

Look at this Kabuki Bae as she is so sophisticated with endless beauty while posing for the camera under the Japanese Maple Tree and a Dentoutekina ie (a traditional house) in the background with a beautiful pond in the front as the sun casted a shadows and highlights upon her mini purple corset kimono as well as upon her mocca tone soft skin as it trace her curves. Yup it is a beautiful day today at the Tokugawa Gardens.

The Kabuki-za was originally opened by a Meiji era journalist, Fukuchi Gen'ichirō. Fukuchi wrote kabuki dramas in which Ichikawa Danjūrō IX and others starred; upon Danjūrō's death in 1903, Fukuchi retired from the management of the theatre. The theatre was then taken over by the Shochiku Corporation in 1914; the theatre is exclusively run by the company since.
Kabuki (歌舞伎 kabuki) is a classical Japanese dance-drama. Kabuki theatre is known for the stylization of its drama and for the elaborate make-up worn by some of its performers.
The individual kanji characters, from left to right, mean sing (歌), dance (舞), and skill (伎). Kabuki is therefore sometimes translated as "the art of singing and dancing".

Shinjuku is one of the most crowded ward in Tokyo Metropolis.
Roughly speaking this energetic town is divided into two areas. One is a major commercial and administrative area located in the west side of Shinjuku Station. Many skyscrapers are seen in this area, including Cocoon Tower, MS Building, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
The other one is Tokyo's best-known entertainment district located in the east side of the station.
5 minutes walk from the exit of the busy station, red neon sign of “Kabuki-Cho” will meet your eyes. With its variety of restaurants, theaters, hostess and host bars and adult entertainment business, Kabuki-Cho at night becomes enveloped in a whirlpool of desire.
Few days ago saw Misturu Nikaido's Kabuki mask and really loved the idea. So this is what I came up with.
Maikos and Geikos see special all star Kabuki play (named KAOMISE play) at Minami-za on every early December.
This event called SOUKEN.

Last night it struck me that I could do a print auction for Japan as well. I already have this image on canvas at a size 50x75 cm (± 20x30 inch) and am auctioning it for relief efforts in Japan. The image is called "kabuki Scream" and was made as part of my 2009 365 project. It's highly Japanese inspired, and I thought this to be a fitting image for this cause. And now you can own this beautiful piece if you can make a binding bid for it.
Now I know there are a lot of good causes to donate too, but my charity of choice is

As I'm an avid animal lover, I'm concerned about all the animals and pets who got caught in the turmoil of the devastating disaster.
