Exactly 30 years ago, my son found a present under the Christmas tree, a Lego Pirate Ship with a paper booklet with assembly instructions. Two days ago, my granddaughter found a Star Wars Ship under the Christmas tree, but with much more modern instructions. Of course she had to open the gift right away and start building.

"Betrayal: The Creature"
Passionate & Prepared are two different concepts. In the months prior to this letter, I have been filled with passion & desire. But Prepared for the Leadership expected of me, I was not. A wise man once said, Desire without Knowledge is not good. That's the place at which I would myself. And anytime you're 'bout to get it right, the Enemy's not far from makin' everything wrong.

The first of my new series "the creature."
Each picture, youll learn more about the characters and the amazing story line. I interpreted one of Jer's writings last year in film and was super happy with it. He is amazingly talented at writing, and I love doing projects based off of them.
Flickr Friday theme, Knowledge. One of my old books. Cookie and Mouse. Mouse doesn't want to give up his bowtie.
the old photographer,;-)
Gruben places ancestral knowledge squarely squarely within the context of contemporary artistic expressions and socio-political concerns – both local and global. Here, she fashions polar bear air into a Morse Code SOS, highlighting the effects of climate change on the northern environment, the polar bears who live there, and the Inuvialuit who rely on them. Maureen’s connection to the materials in her work speaks to the continued importance of relationships with animals, storytelling and intergenerational skills.
This huge old book was sitting on the corner of the shelf just above my desk here; I was experimenting with camera settings as I sat here, clicking away at random subjects and I kind of liked how it looked with the branches behind it.
Another museum shot......Take note how the wild 14 year old poses politely for his father and pretends to be interested in the exhibit!!!
Those cubicle-shaped rooms in those buildings look like books and the whole building looks like a bookshelf. Those rooms representing knowledge. Wings are the focal point in this picture because that is the end result, which is freedom. And with that freedom that person holds endless opportunities (sky is the limit).
And I hate to tell you... but I think that once you have a fair idea where you want to go, your first move will be to apply yourself in a school. You'll have to. You're a student—whether the idea appeals to you or not. You're in love with knowledge. And I think you'll find, once...
If you refuse to drink from the fountain of knowledge, you'll die of thirst in the desert of ignorance!

The Cuypers library in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is one of the reasons to visit the museum. I really like the atmosphere...
This image is not SOOC. No, it needed a lot of TLC to come out like this. It is a 5 imagepanorama with 5 exposure-brackets brought together in Photoshop.
But you may like it as it is.
